A step in the right direction
When you choose for example connection type: modem from options/system menu, it always returns to default which is lan/cable. Some cmd doesn't allow changes or what?

The rate and maxpackets may be forced by server config. If it is your own server, you should check the default.cfg in the mapconfigs folder.

Why someone needs modem rate? IIRC modem = 13000 rate or so and most of the cables now a days have upload capacity of more then that.
