A step in the right direction

I have a weird issue on my server!

Sometimes the hitsounds work and other times when your shooting they just don't make a sound. I'd say its every 1 / 5 itl make the hitsound and its just feels like its skipping!

Works perfect if your about 10 feet away but if you stand infront of player it doesnt work and if your far away it doesnt work!

Never had this problem until now!

it sounds like your sounds have become corrupted, do you have a separate sound pack with them in ?

There is no distance calculations on hitsounds and they always use default volume.

try checking you g_hitsounds and g_defaultHitSounds and make sure they are set as you want.

Checked, they are on etpro :P Its a weird thing and I can't explain why its happening!

If the player is moving when far away it will not play the hitsound but if they're stood still it plays thit hitsound!

And yes I am hitting the player cause I kill them without hitsounds

are there any errors in the console when the hit sounds should be heard ?

have you tried any other hit sounds ?

No errors in the console, I have not tried any others but that shouldn't be an issue should it?

you could try g_defaultHitSounds "1" which defaults silEnT hitsounds and see if they work.

whether there is an issue or not I'm not sure ? if there are no errors in console that would tend to show there are no errors

What is ETAC Anti Lag intended to do? The way the term anti-lag is generally understood in ET is as a store of old snapshots that can be interpolated by the server to find out the exact player positions for some time in history. Currently about 400 ms max in silEnT with default snapshot rate.
