I understand there is rate-stepping but that isn't my point. People should start off with a reasonable minimum since players still connect with low rates because of the installer they chose to use. I don't want new players asking why they are lagging or leaving because of this before the rate steps up.</p><p> </p><p>
I hate to use the John Oliver/Justin Trudeau fallacy but, "It's 2017, cmon!" I mean, change the text info, when someone kills another player or bot, for a icon of gun what kills that player. Like NOQuarter. I know, I know, if I want that option it would be better to change NOQuarter instead silEnT, but, I like silEnT too. </p><p> </p><p>The amount of options that offers silEnT is much better NOQ. I'm sure you've seen ET minimizer. It's also built into the latest versions of Redsector's Jaymod enhmod. Basically instead of writing !listplayers or !help, u could just do a partial admin command and that system would recognize it already, such as !list or !he and so on.</p><p> </p><p>My second question is are the admin commands able to be done via Fireteam or team chat for example again, like at jaymod, u are able to execute the commands via Fireteam and not writing it at main chat only. Would give some kind of discery to admins when maybe speccing someone, taking out the infos of that player without everyone on the server knowing.</p><p>I find at jaymod very useful that the admin commands can be used in Fireteam chat, which enables me to execute certain commands without anyone else knowing, as well as using the "silent" command such as /![command] which completely does everything in privacy.</p><p> </p><p>Again, if this topic already exist, can someone be so kind and point it out to it, otherwise, i hope to get some good feedback on it.</p><p> </p><p>Cheers,</p><p>Aniky</p>]]></description><guid isPermaLink="false">5289</guid><pubDate>Sun, 12 Apr 2015 11:37:40 +0000</pubDate></item><item><title>A mix of other requests</title><link>https://mygamingtalk.com/topic/5217-a-mix-of-other-requests/</link><description><![CDATA[<p>I'm unsure which of these have been suggested in the past, but here goes.</p><p> </p><p>1. Blind firing (able to use supressing fire around corner / while peeking - but rounds are greatly spread out (no fine aiming).</p><p>2. Door Kicking Open with ability to crush enemies on the other side.</p><p>3. General Kicking with animation added</p><p>4. IED - Throw level variable (Make it possible to throw the IED further via a setting change server side)</p><p>5. IED launchable via grenade launcher (ok this is my own pipe dream)  <img alt=":D" src="https://mygamingtalk.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" data-src="https://mygamingtalk.com/uploads/emoticons/default_biggrin.png"></p><p>6. Shotgun</p><p>7. Venom</p><p>8. BAR/STG</p><p>7. Poison gas mines / Poison gas smoke canister (covy)</p><p> </p><p>Any of these additions would be set in the server cvars settings. I know people have differing opinions on these settings, so I feel it would be nice if all of these could be turned on or off. The weapons and kicking modifications obviously exist in NQ/Jaymod: but I'm thinking why not cherry pick the best of those mods and make these additional options customizable via the server config?</p><p>ETF is also available to help test any Silent mod changes or future releases.
