    The headshot damage is obviously exactly the same in PPSh and other SMG weapons. In default settings.

    Just for the record, all this PPSh is overpowered is just an emotional thing coming from the players not being able to handle the thought of someone being better in a situation. The gun sound plays a role in that too. I had the same issue myself in the beginning. However, when players I considered good aimers started using it, I got rid of that problem. I noticed it didn't change the gun fights at all. Another fact is that we couldn't make it overpowered. In the beginning I was for making it strong because at the time, playing medic was too easy for me. I've always been quite dedicated medic. I just got hooked into the adrenaline for fast decision making between revives and shooting enemies. That is also the reason why it was not made available for the medics. silEnT mod is a public server mod so all the balance talk of scrims never applies to this mod. On a pub server at least half of the team is not playing exactly for the same objective on the same level. Even on objective style servers. You can be sure that it was carefully looked so that an engineer with a PPSh is not an overpowered rambo engineer.

    one of our bot men is looking in to it, not sure what's wrong though as it works running et as ominbot and etmain, it just seems not to like silent at the moment.

    No. It wouldn't work because as per him user hasn't connected. Manually editing shrubbot.cfg works. Edit it, add ban i.e. copy it from friends server and then do !readconfig.

    He got busted for cheating again on many servers. Oxy guy is old player known as impulsive or whatever.... who flooded servers with fake player DDoS on many servers. I wouldn't trust any busted cheaters multiple times claiming "AC" work in progress and the person who is known to cause issues on other clan servers for fun. 
     
    Every admin runs server so players can enjoy but those who try to cause trouble by hacking and DDoS'ing are never trust worthy. Chaplja was cheat coder but never server hacker or DDoS'r.

    ETPUB !balance was mostly broken. I would suggest doing !howfair and if teams are off, admins can !put to balance the teams or do !shuffle based on K/D. K/D shuffle is not perfect but way better then shuffle based on XP. 
     
    In future release we have plans to enhance !balance function or provide something better but nothing is set in stone. If you have good ideas, feel free to share.
     
    On our servers we just shuffle every 2 maps based on K/D before map starts. Keep things even.

    Do you have pk3 in etmain with autoexec.cfg inside it? That's one of the reason why it messes up. I know certain clans had that pk3's and I never visited there server back because it messes up my configs.

    If I say something is not reproducible it means I have tested it. I have said it several posts ago already so you can't claim you didn't notice it. I see this is the end of this thread as no truthful information was provided.
     
    EDIT:
    It seems this needs to be spelled out even more clearly to avoid new bullshit threads from popping up.
    1. Spectator click spamming mouse does not crash/stall server with default configuration. It has been tested.
    2. Only other information that was given was a crash report that clearly has nothing todo with mouse clicking whatsoever.

    That +net_ip was just an example on how to add more parameter to command line.  You can use dynamic dns in your router if that is supported.

    Mostly now a days all router support free dynamic dns. I am money saver guy so I got above in refurb for 60 bucks. Best router so far. Just suggesting in case if you are looking for one.

    When you say it doesn't load enhance mod then probably you are not adding correct homepath and basepath. Does it loads up the mod fine?

     Cool Idea, but toggling off what you don't need is fine in my book...Rewrite the code? Nah. Unfortunately as much as I personally love this game and playing it..It's time has passed. That is why I am scrambling to make sure I have everything I need to host it myself. 
     
    Just my personal opinion of coarse and opinions vary as a rule......

    Currently I have had a lot of people ask is there a way to just not include all the features, as there are way too many for what they need.
     
    I have answered this question usually with: Everything can be toggled on and off some where. Whether that be Config.json or disabling commands in Commands.json. There are very few things that are not configurable, or at least able to disable. And if there was ever something I missed (Sometimes I do miss some features because I am so used to them being enabled) just to ask me and I can probably make it able to disable / enable.
     
    However recently a proposed idea would be to make a drag and drop features into a folder like LESM/plugins/
    This would also allow people to use my Lua as a sort of API to make their own plugins which I find really cool.
    It sounds good, and I really kind of like the idea of it, I just don't know how to approach the idea yet, if it is possible (for me) to do..
    This however proposes a problem, instead of having to configure one thing you would then have to configure each individual plugin.
    It would also require a sort of rewrite of the entire code, which would probably take some time.
     
    So what do you think should be done? Should I just continue what I am doing?

    Everybody's free to experiment with the game on developer 1 mode. And experimenting should stay on developer/debug mode. The game on prod servers should be consistent and not allow "bugging" itself or giving unfair advantage.  
    silEnT already does sv_cvar cg_fov IN 90 120 by default and I request this little change so there's more space saved in configstrings length.

    I looked into this and I don't think it can be done via lua? The only way I can think off was latching the player weapon, but in order to latch the panzer the class would need to be soldier. So I don't think I can do that part, although i did update the lua script and will post it in the downloads sections has a bit more settings and features pre-done in the lua so users won't need to change anything in their server configuration files.

    The FUNBOY (flight school)  sever at 74.91.123.182:27965 is running SilEnt mod 0.8.2  The FUNBOY severs do have a jaymod and a Noquarter mod sever. They all have the same IP address but use a different port  (27961 and 27969) i was just wondering how they gave all class of players a panzer. I wanted to do that for my SilEnt mod server.  Thanks for the help.

    They are using Silent on Flight School but they have a "enhanced mod" which was intended for jaymod only installed as well. This is how they are adding the panzer and unlimited ammo with all weapons. This is not recommended by Silent because its unstable, security loopholes, and crashing. I personally would see if it could be done with Lua, or if there is a similar mini-mod that is compatable with Silent. I wonder if the give command would work in a map config? If it did though once you get gibbed you would lose what was given. If I was a brillant coder I would see this as a challenge and my competitive persosonality would take over to try and find a solution.

    I finally got my two fun maps completely running. One is a pazerwar the other is a sniperwar both are activated by custom map configs before match begins .I also installed rhe custom /callvotes for all the wars, low grav, fast speed that can be called by a level 6 or higher member on any map. Then in my default map config I just added the normal settings like g_panzerwar 0, g_gravity 800, g_dmgpanzer 500, anything that needs to go back to normal so everything is automatic. If a member calls a custom vote the next map goes back to normal settings. When my fun maps are voted for the same happens, the next map is back to normal. It's easy and if someone forgets and leaves the server takes care of itself. No Gibs for maps period but do not think there is a way around the gib on the custom votes. At least when it is called anyway.
