As of our last update, Force Sensitive skills are now available to Jedi. A Jedi will need to invest at least 24 skill points in the Force Sensitive trees to advance to Padawan. Knight Trial/FRS skill point requirements have been lowered as a result of this change.

In addition to Jedi FS skills, this update incorporated a lot of balance related fixes and tweaks to improve overall game play.

SWG Reckoning - Pre CU Server

 
SWG Reckoning is a Jedi enabled Pre-CU SWG server. Reckoning is staffed by experienced Pre-CU players whose common goal is to bring Pre-CU Star Wars Galaxies back to the masses while also striving to provide the best possible play experience for our community.

We really believe that Pre-CU did things right. Things will not be given away or made easy on this server.

Our end goal is to take SWG Pre-CU and add to it. While we may add new items, features, and quests, we will never mess with or alter the core Pre-CU experience.

CU/NGE Items & Features
While we believe the NGE ruined the game, it did bring some cool new elements with it. With that being said, we decided to integrate a few things from the CU & NGE such as player housing, speeders, furniture, and pitch/roll into the server. Others items from later versions of game will be added as we progress.

Jedi System
Jedi Unlock
On Reckoning, we have implemented a unique Jedi System. On character creation, every character is assigned a random set of variables that  determine what they have to achieve before heading down the Jedi path.  Some will be more attuned to the Force, while others will have to work a  little harder. Jedi is hard to achieve (as it should be), so it will  take some time before you begin down your path!

Knight Trials & Force Ranking System
We are the first server to implement the full Jedi Knight Trials, just as they were on Live SWG. In addition to the Knight Trials, the Force Ranking system has been implemented as well. With rank advancement through voting, FRS skill modifiers, force modifiers, titles, and robes, we have one of the most advanced FRS systems to date.

Jedi Bounty Hunting
Jedi visibility and bounty hunting are fully implemented. Hop on your Bounty Hunter and help purge the empire of its sworn enemy!

PvP System
Reckoning uses the Pre Pub 13 TEF PvP System and a custom player city alignment system. With our TEF system, you have one of two statuses that you can choose from after joining a faction: Covert (Undercover), Or Overt (Special Forces).

Buffs
We have enhancement terminals that provide basic buffs in the lower  level areas. Buffs were a very important element of Pre-CU combat and  our enhancement terminals help new players get started as they explore  the galaxy. Of course, these will never be as good as buffs provided by  players.

Crafting
SWG did crafting right and the base system needs no major changes .  Mostly quality of life changes,  we have added new craftables, increased  resource stack sizes, and increased factory crate sizes.

Player Cities & Housing
Player Cities
Player cities have been adjusted to be in line with current server population. In addition, you can now align your city with your faction. In doing so, players of the opposing faction will gain a PvP City TEF.

Player Housing
One thing that we have always thought was limiting to players was house storage, on Reckoning, we have increased the storage limits for all housing. Decorators rejoice!

Events
Reckoning staff members run regular events almost every weekend. We feel that this brings a community closer together. Players are also encouraged to hold events.

Hardware
Reckoning runs on a high end dedicated server that will allow future growth while providing the best play experience.

Backup
The SWG Reckoning Berkeley Database & MySQL Database are backed up every 6 hours on a remote 500GB SSD provided by our host. We also perform local hourly rolling backups. We are a permanent player server, as such we take loss of data very seriously and will do everything in our power to protect your game data.
