I have researched the best mesh wifi system for the past few days because my current one struggles to handle multiple devices and I often face dead zones in some parts of the house. I went through reviews on the New York Times, Consumer Reports, and Popular Mechanics, and most of them are highlighting these two models as top picks:
GL.iNet GL-BE9300 (Flint 3) Tri-Band WiFi 7 Router

TP-Link Deco BE63 Tri-Band WiFi 7 BE10000

Both look great, but I’m having trouble deciding which one would be the better fit for my needs. For context, my home has multiple smart TVs, security cameras, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and a few smart home devices like Alexa and smart plugs. I also work from home, so I need reliable high-speed internet for video calls, large file uploads, and streaming. On weekends, we also do some online gaming and 4K streaming, which often slows things down.
Another issue I face is WiFi coverage—since my house has two floors, there are weak spots upstairs where the signal drops. I’m looking for a router that not only delivers speed but also strong coverage, and ideally something future-proof (Wi-Fi 6 or 6E).
So between these two options, which one would you recommend? Or is there another router I should consider in this price range? Any suggestions or personal experiences would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!
