HR and Payroll Software in Pakistan: My Honest Take on Vertex HCM

I’ve been using HR and payroll software for a while now, and I thought I’d share my experience with Vertex HCM, especially since HR management in Pakistan can get pretty tricky sometimes. We were using a more traditional, manual system before, and honestly, it felt like we were always running behind on tasks – payroll issues, employee records, leave tracking… you name it.

Switching to Vertex HCM wasn’t without its bumps. The onboarding process was a bit of a headache at first, mostly because we had to migrate so many records. But once everything was set up, it really started paying off. The payroll is much faster, and the HR tasks are now more automated. Employees can check their leave balances, salary slips, and attendance all through the system, which cuts down on back-and-forth with HR.

That said, it’s not perfect. Sometimes the software feels a bit rigid, especially when we want to make custom adjustments. Still, for most things, it does the job.

I’d love to hear if anyone else has tried out HR and payroll software in Pakistan. How does Vertex HCM compare to other options out there? Is there something I might be missing?
