A simple question about XP save

I am looking to set up Xpsave forever, but currently cant get xp to save at all. My config reads as follows:

set g_dbUserMaxAge "30"

This sets the max age to 30 seconds. It's a fault in the default config. Please note that changing this value requires full server restart.
