dumdumdum
Hola Guys, Just a few more questions if you could help please: 1. Is there a cfg setting for overriding map spawntimes & setting say 10s spawn for both Axis & Allies on all maps? 2. Is there a guide somewhere as to where server messages will show & how to change them 3. Is there a simple way to change weapon cooling/reloading/accuracy characteristics Thx Dum Edited February 4, 2012 by dumdumdum
Management gaoesa Posted February 4, 2012 Management Share Posted February 4, 2012 1. g_userAxisRespawnTime & g_userAlliedRespawnTime2. What do you mean? Take a look at the banners.cfg if this is what you mean.3. No there is no way to change them. Only damage and radius settings.
dumdumdum
Thank you very much, I am now ok with items 1 & 3. The banners config is what I am looking for more information on - the default message is: ^1check out our bannerwait = 30position = bp I assume there is the capability to show multiple messages one after the other, what I need to know is how this is configured in terms of the wait command between messages - does anyone have a sample banners.cfg file they could let me look at this would be easiest for me Also the position = bp - what are the various position options, are they editable & can I find a list of them anywhere Thanks once again Dum
Management gaoesa Posted February 4, 2012 Management Share Posted February 4, 2012 [banner] message = ^2Visit our website at http://www.himalia.fi/ wait = 45 position = chat [banner] message = ^2Problems with ET ^7crashing^2? Update to to 2.60b! wait = 45 position = bp These are the two banners I'm using on my server.Wiki document:http://mygamingtalk.com/wiki/index.php/Silent_Banners From the document, "position" can have the values chat, cpm (popup), cp (center), bp (banner) or print (console). The cvar is of course g_banners since 0.4.0 even though the document says g_settings which was used before.
