Couldn't reopen ... .pk3 - ET crashes

Hello all,

 

my ET suddenly started to crash often. It crashes on all silEnT mod servers, but quite randomly.

On some server it crashes right after map finish (when players go vote for another, if I reconnect before finish and then join to vote it's fine).

On some I can't even join team... Right after I choose team and class it crashes. And sometimes it just crashes randomly.

 

It crashes to desktop showing ET console, which looks like this:

The crash looks always the same, only the last line changes. It is some map.pk3 or pak0.pk3.

I play on silEnT 0.8.2 and 0.9.0 2.60b servers and my os is Windows 7 64bit.

 

Any ideas what might be a cause?

You are a player not a server admin right?

 

Option 1: clean up /etmain/ (delete incomplete downloads, custom pack files, etc).  If you don't know what you are doing - try option 2

 

Option 2: Re-install but to a new folder (such as c:\programfiles\wolf2\)

Do not install punkbuster (its dead)

Open the game and activate your profile (before you run any /exec cfg script and before you connect to any server)

Thanks, I'd rather clean my folders, I was thinking about it. I try to delete last downloaded packs and it didn't help, maybe I'll do some more cleaning.
