If you are running your own server you can do it through shell. If you are using GSP they could also do it for you if they are small sized. For bigger size GSP I guess we just do it manually and this feature would be useful there. But logs don't go that much bigger depending on what you have enabled for logging.

I believe I checked it for Beth and it looks like DB is corrupted and hence the issue. Improper reloading from old back ups sometimes results to corrupted DB.
