  1. Great suggestion.  It would be nice to have spectators automatically pickup shoucaster features without being shoutcaster.  I myself am resorting to shrubbot for this.  I had to make a logout command otherwise I cannot join a team as shoutcaster.  If anybody has a better way of implementing this please let me know.

    [command]
    command  = shout
    exec     = makeshoutcaster
    desc     =
    syntax   =
    levels   =

    [command]
    command  = shoutout
    exec     = sclogout
    desc     =
    syntax   =

  2. I am curious about any options to allow for unlimited stamina?  I see there is g_staminaRecharge but only for 0 or 1.  And 0 disables it entirely.

    g_staminaRecharge

    Description:

    Multiplies the rate at which stamina is rebuilt. Setting this value to zero will cause players to not regain any stamina once it is used except through the use of adrenalin.

    Type: float

    Default: 1.0

  3. Interesting ... I have noticed some server give the option to use either or under any team but that clutters the weapon cycle and annoys people who use configs.  I used to think this was due to players simply preferring the the style and sound of one gun over another but then started to think that this article about gun spread might have been more of a reason.  Guess I was wrong ?

  4. Is the MP40 and Thomson based on original fire-rates and fire-spreads or are they now balanced?  And if not, can this be done?

    1. Your weapon choice: the MP40 (Axis) seems to have slightly less spread than the Thomson (Allies)

      Spread: MP40 vs. Thomson

      Ifurita from planetwolfenstein did an analysissome years ago in RTCW on how many rounds a weapon is able to fire per second. He found out that the MP40 has a slightly higher firering rate than the Thomson (~ 6 vs. 5 rounds per second). You should now probably expect compensating the Axis advantage by having more spread. On the contrary: from the screenshots he made you can conclude that the MP 40 also has slightly less spread when fired in small bursts from 3 to 5 rounds. Of course all on the condition that the analysis is a.) correct and b.) also applies on Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.
