Alright, I mean.. if you guys are cool with having the **DRC** stuff on the site, I will do that. We also have an ET installation software that will include the etkey software in it as well...

Das Rebellion Clan has created a etkey generator that actually works. I use it for my ET now because I didn't have an etkey for a little while there... I would recommend using it, because... well it works. http://dasrebellion.com/upload/DRCClanETkeyGenerator.zip Extract it to anywere you like Click on generate etkey, then click on save etkey It will create a file called etkey in you c:directory Copy this file into your etmain directory You can now now play It will create a key beginning with drc... well because we created it. But it still works perfectly fine and normal, too! If you want, you could probably just make that a link in game on the menu or whatever or as an error message and it will direct them to that.

I'll be honest, I have no clue what I did, but I pk3'd it on accident instead of a different file and it worked. Took a few minutes... ok.. hour and made sure things looked good and ran good, and now they are excellent. Thanks guys for the support.

@hellreturn - I don't think I am gonna really need to wait for the official new release of silent. Like I said, this menu is just for the general ET main menu when you launch the game. It's not dedicated to one individual mod. @Silencer - My issues that I am having is that I can't find the file you are talking about... So i guess I must be a little dumb here, but I am still learning! I am currently trying to find these in the menumacros file and #define QM_MENU_END } #define QM_MENU_ITEM( isn't in that file.. So that is where I am getting lost. The above part with the codes, none of those are in that order. Is that what I am suppose to be changing that file into? Please forgive me, I am a worthless bum. This is my lack of computer classes have done for me. Damn Culinary school!

Would it be easier to copy and paste and fix what you have mentioned, or just get the file from one of the updated original menus?

The menu isn't necessarily just a silent menu. It is a general menu we are putting together to include in our ET installation we have made that includes the 2.60b patch, an etkey and other files that are necessary to play on our servers.

drcmenu1.zip My assets folder was to larger to add into the zip file.. Those files named in my assets folder are: Portraits (folder) - inside of that is allies_win_flag and axis_win_flag 3_cursor3 - TGA file background_mask - TGA file click - WAV file et_logo_huge - TGA file filter_balance - TGA file menu - jpg file I hope that is what you need. Let me know what needs added to make it work. Thanks!

I feel like I keep posting something new on this topic everyday... Once again... our clan has created a new thing for the new et player. Now it is a full installation of the game, with the etkey generator on it that puts the etkey in the etmain folder so that you can play. Also, it uploads jaymod, silent, pro, 2.60b patch and other folders that are necessary to play on our servers, but it's very simple to just connect to others as well. It's like a normal installation of the game, we just added our files to it. So with that being said.. I am sure that silent can create an installation that could do this as well.

When trying to download the file, it keeps telling me that the file is to large and skips the download.

So I've created a main menu for our **DRC**, and everything is written correctly... well... at least I think it is. It isn't wanting to pull up when I open ET or disconnect from a server. Can anyone take a few moments and look over it? Since I can't upload it to this post, I can email it to whomever wants it or find another way to get it to you.

I have to agree with Dragon. Don't make one gun useable for both sides. It's really dumb. What's the point of having different sides if you get the same gun anyways.. What's the point of searching for that gun on the ground to pick it up? When I play allies... I hate it... cause I like the gun axis gets... so when I see it on the ground, I pick it up... simple as that. Don't give the gun to both teams.
