Hello,

 

Is there a limit in the number of words in this CVAR ?

 

It doesn't work on my server

 

Hmmm maybe my list is too long (52 bad words PL, ENG, NL, GER and FR) sorry I'm a paranoiac admin

There is no limit to the amount of words.

OK so is there a bug or my settings are wrong ?

 

set g_censorNames "hitler"

set g_censorNeil 0

set g_censorNeilNames 0

set g_censorPenalty 8

set g_censorMuteTime 300

set g_censorXP 5

 

with

set g_censor "word1,xxxxx,word52"

but some words have numbers, like n00b, could iit be that ??

The numbers should not make a difference. Text is all the same. Also, the settings you posted are the same what I use so the problem shouldn't be in there either. If you use only few words, does it work then? Also, when you test, please remember that using flag '*' will grant immunity against censoring.

Well, I'm gonna try wtih just few words, and for the flag "*" I have not set levels on the server (for the moment).

Ooops, finally I get it working with 38 words, mixing letters/numbers, all is right.

 

For information, when CVAR was set full of52 words in server.cfg, the CVAR was empty when queried by HLSW console:

 

g_censor is "^7" default is "^7"

 

Bye all and no more bad words in game xDDD
