Subscriber BECK Posted May 23, 2012 Subscriber Share Posted May 23, 2012 Okay - so I changed my shrubbot file to add some more levels. Lets say I'm presently a level 10 on the server. I want to make myself a level 12 now. How can that be done? I can't seem to do it with the useredit command because it says I can't modify to a higher level than I presently am at. So, how can it be done? Thanks.
Dookie
you need to use rcon in that case, so you do like /rcon setlevel beck
Petbark
The other way, if you have ftp access, goto silent/database and look at shrubot.cfgUsing a text editor you can add in levels, see the wiki on this and then reupload the file over writing the original. The using rcon do /rcon [rcon password] readconfig Then you should see an output confirming the number of levels. Petbark
Sorry just reread the first post. To do this you need to use rcon. Do /rcon [rcon password] setlevel [your slot number] [new level]
Subscriber BECK Posted May 23, 2012 Author Subscriber Share Posted May 23, 2012 Thanks fellas. I always forget about RCON because I always associated it with punkbuster, but I have to remember it's not.
