Hi I have problem whit set corectly shrubbot.

 

When i set:

set g_shrubbot "shrubbot.cfg"

set g_dbDirectory "database"

shrubbot work, but dont wanna read lvls and admins what i set there

 

I wanna use only shrubbot, becus in that server i no need xpsave, so only need shrubbot were will be write new admins.

 

But when set like that, dont wanna work

set g_shrubbot "shrubbot.cfg"

set g_dbDirectory ""

There is no longer cvar g_shrubbot at all.

 

You can disable the XP save with setting g_XPSave to 0. http://mygamingtalk.com/silent/manual/server.html#g_XPSave

 

The same database holds all the user information (XP data and shrubbot levels), so you need the g_dbDirectory setting to use the shrubbot. http://mygamingtalk.com/silent/manual/server.html#g_dbDirectory

 

Notice that bans and warns and level configurations are still in the shrubbot.cfg file that is in the folder specified by g_dbDirectory.

 

Also, the mapvoting data is stored in that folder.

 

I gave links to the online documentation that is not yet up to date. We will have link from the forums to the online documentation once it is updated. But the documentation that comes with the silent-0.2.0.zip is correct and the file docs/server.html will tell you all the used settings. The specific links I gave in this response are accurate though.

From the second read I realise that you were asking how to set admins their levels.

 

Unfortunately, you need to have the admin visit the server at least once, so that he gets registered by the mod and added to the user database.

 

You can give the admin his level when he is online using the !setlevel command or if he is offline, using the !useredit command. With useredit command, you give "!useredit <8 character PB GUID> level ". You can do !help useredit when your online or look the commands from here http://mygamingtalk.com/silent/manual/server.html#shrubbot.

OK, that is mean there is no writed admins in shrubbot more ? that file is only for level/admin comand

 

But how i can set myself first >? "you may not set level higher than you current level"

 

I always edit shrubbot, add there my guid and lvl, then come server and have.

I will explain problem, if someone will be search.

 

I give to hight number of level, I was give 100, 50, 25, 12 and etc, typical for clan servers

From rcon, is the possibility of a maximum set only 30 number, so that was reason of problem.

 

Now it evrything OK,
