Tosa_Inu Posted July 29, 2011 Share Posted July 29, 2011 (edited) Inside the silent 3.3 download is a textfile with the name: install.I think it contains a text failer, or type failer.See my marking in red, should this be: silent-3.3Download taken from here: http://mygamingtalk.com/forums/files/download/1-silent-mod/ silEnT 0.2.0 and above supports Windows and Linux servers. Quick Install for silEnT version 0.2.0 and above, All Platforms================================================================ 1. Backup old etmain and silent folders if you have them but do not delete etmain folder.2. Unzip the silent.zip found from inside the silent-0.2.0.zip.3. Upload the contents inside the silent.zip to the root of the ET installation. Next to etded.4. Start your server with command line "etded +set dedicated 2 +set fs_game silent +exec silent.cfg". After your server is running============================= Add your rcon password to the command line like this "+set rconpassword <your password>", or change the name of the silent.cfg in etmain folder to something unguessable and edit your rcon password there. Also, go to http://mygamingtalk.com/forums/ with your web browser to get more help from silEnT developers and other admins. Migrate from 0.2.1 to 0.3.0 Should be: Migrate from 0.2.1 to 0.3.3, i think.It looks confusing. A little bit of helping how to update from an old to a new version will help server noobs aswel i think.If possible ad the info how to do it in the text file.I know you are very experienced, but not every server owner has the knowledge you guys have.
