force fps
20 January 2012 - 11:14 PM
Is there a setting on the server, or maybe in Silent mod that is forcing the com_maxfps to 125? When I change mine in the game (on our server) it doesn't change it. If I exit and look in my cfg file in the Silent mod folder, it is still set to 125. Just curious
User Database

Is it possible to get a more easier user database that isn't so fragile? For instance, going through the silent userdb is a little harder then going through Jaymods. Again.. not saying jaymod is better because I like silent a lot better, but their db is much easier to read. It automatically creates the fields and changes when you edit a player in the console as well.
Something in that nature or a little different would be nice to have in our database. I don't know how possible it is, but it works a little easier to the more experienced and less expereineced server admin.
What do you think?

Few questions

So I FINALLY got it up and working with the help of Gaming Deluxe. I started playing on the server and noticed just a few things... Maybe it's my settings
Friendly Fire is activated through:
Another thing, this one could be a map issue though or just my game.. I couldn't pick up the objective in 1944_beach.. idk. Wouldn't let me pick it up. Since there was 24 minutes left and I couldn't do the objective with a bunch of bots, I went to !nextmap and it told me that the next map was loaded, but it would not work. It never went to the next map. Any clue?

I setting up some custom commands and kill sprees for my server and I found a list of these last night and a few example kill spree stuff and it isn't quite matching up. Are these correct?
If so.. they aren't quite matching up with this..
If the codes are right, the end of this killing spree would look a little something like this:
Say Dapke gave me some ammo and then I was killed by Cutter...
=EMP=Avery13's killing spree (=EMP=Cutterbeck kills) was cut short by =EMP=Dapke!.
Am I right? I am hoping that one of these codes are wrong... hopefully the ending kill spree... I can't remember what website I got both of those from.
[a] last player who gave you ammo [d] last player who killed you [g] the last 8 characters of your GUID [h] last player who gave you health [k] last player you killed [l] your location (letter, number) [n] your name [r] last player who revived you [p] last player you looked at [s] health remaining [w] name of current weapon [t] ammo for current weapon position: chat, cpm(popup), cp(center), bp(banner), print(console) display: all (all players) or player (just the player) play: all (all players) or player (just the player) or envi (people around the person)
If so.. they aren't quite matching up with this..
[end] number = 5 message = [n]^8's killing spree (^3[k] kills^8) was cut short by ^7[a]^8. position = chat display = all sound = sound/misc/end.wav play = all tkmessage = [n]^8's killing spree (^3[k] kills^8) was cut short by ^1TEAMMATE ^7[a]^8. tkposition = chat tkdisplay = all tksound = sound/misc/end.wav tkplay = all skmessage = [n]^8's killing spree (^3[k] kills^8) was cut short by ^1himself! skposition = chat skdisplay = all sksound = sound/misc/end.wav skplay = all wkmessage = [n]^8's killing spree (^3[k] kills^8) was cut short. wkposition = chat wkdisplay = all wksound = sound/misc/end.wav wkplay = all
