  2. With crazy speed is there anyway of being able to set a lower limit through a cvar as we find once it hits very very slow people get annoyed and leave?
  3. Hi Carv My server has multiple userxdb files so don't think it is that. The XP settings would not affect levels to my knowledge. Just reread your post and my database file permissions are set to radfw(0664) might be worth a look. I think that this info might not get saved to the database until the end of the map so if things change halfway through then all info is lost. I sure I read this somewhere. I will see if I can find it. @ diabolik 12o means 12 months s - seconds m - minutes d - days w - weeks o - months

  5. You could set level flag to allow certain admin levels the ability to switch teams.
  6. Have you actually read through the wiki on silent as it explains all the settings and how they work?
  7. The game has certain limits to enable game play to continue while some others download files. This is why it is best to redirect to a different location to keep the server load for game play.
  8. Beck you can ban players when they are not connected First use !usersearch name (player name) Then having got the silent guid use !userban (silentguid) This way bans are done through mod and does not rely on editing and manually adding. This is more for info for new comers to the mod.

    This is because of the modified pk3 file you had originally used. It needs to be removed from the client side to make sure it is not the problem.

  13. Has the knock back been increased in 6.3 as we have noticed much more of a kick back when hit with small round fire?

    If he has his silent folder named say silent63 and you have just silent then when connecting you computer will mirror the server and create this new folder hence the download.
  16. Game servers give full ftp access. I have no problems running silEnT.
  17. Is there away of incorporating a data base of known bad checksums that will either kick or automatically ban players? I know this is starting down the road of pb.

  20. I would say filter out dummy servers over bot severs for sure.
  21. I am of the opinion no flags etc for bots, the same as Diabolik. Just be honest with players if they see a server they can connect and decide wether to stay and play (if bots are on) or try some where else.
  22. This is a known bug. The developers which they had announced yesterday. Do not use mute via rcon for now. It will be fixed in next release.
  23. There are 2 cvars. g_forceteamBalance set to 1 g_unevenTeamDiff set this to be the difference for teams, I have it set to 2
  24. I know what the issue is. There is a limit of 20 characters to the info from the cvars listed. Can it be increased to 25 or 30?
  25. Not a bug but an error I believe. If you goto Server Info and scroll down you find the mod url. The mod url reads http://mygamingtalk. There is no com at end.
