Sony may not be attending E3 2019, but that doesn't mean we won't be getting any news on upcoming Sony exclusives anytime soon. In fact, following a series of cryptic tweets from Hideo Kojima, Kojima Productions has confirmed that a brand new Death Stranding trailer will drop on May 29. Check out the tweet below: If that's not enough, there are also rumors that Sony will drop a new trailer for The Last of Us: Part 2. These rumors come via reports from two Spanish websites, Gamereactor and Legion De Jugadores (via GamesRadar), which state a new trailer will be released alongside details of the release date. No E3, no problemhttp://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/DujKfjN7dzKrgwbyDkEhr6.jpg The Last of Us: Part 2 (Image credit: Naughty Dog) Rumors that Sony will drop a new Last of Us 2 trailer alongside the Death Stranding trailer should be taken with a pinch of salt, but it's not totally out of the question. Last month, a poster on Resetera suggested that we would be seeing more of The Last of Us: Part 2 before E3 2019. Regardless of whether the rumors of a new Last of Us 2 trailer are true, we definitely know that we will get to see more of Kojima's Death Stranding. Let's just hope this trailer sheds some more light on what the game is actually about, as wells as when we can expect it to be released. Sony has not officially revealed what time we should expect these trailers to drop, but we'll be keeping you updated with all the latest news on both titles. You've designed a great website, found a quality website hosting package and got your creation online. That's great, but don't relax just yet; there's plenty more to do. Maintaining your website involves a lot of work. You'll need to monitor it to make sure it's online and working normally. Web apps like WordPress (and any other software you install) must be updated when patches appear, and you'll have to test these updates to confirm they're working (that gave rise to managed WordPress hosting providers). Then, as the site grows, you might have to work to troubleshoot it, find and fix odd problems, or optimize it for better performance. Managed hosting packages try to simplify your life by taking on many of these tasks. Automatic system monitoring enables providers to detect and fix many common problems before you've realized anything has happened. The support team may install and update all software for you, sometimes testing updates first to look for problems. The best hosts go even further, offering expert advice to help you fix, optimize and maintain your site. This kind of premium support usually comes at a premium price, but if speed and reliability are top of your priority list, managed hosting could be worth the extra cost. Browse our list of five top managed hosting providers to find out what they can do. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/f3bWk8vS5C63dnCrahzBbR.jpg Managed hosting can be expensive – very, very expensive, sometimes – but look carefully and you'll find some worthwhile exceptions. HostPapa's VPS packages all include managed hosting as standard, for instance. They're still not exactly cheap, but the baseline Plus plan has a decent feature set – 1.5GB RAM, four CPU cores, 50GB storage, 1TB bandwidth, unlimited emails, free SSL, cPanel/WHM control panel – for $49.99 (£38) a month on the annual plan (currently, there is a discount and you can get the first month for $19.99). HostPapa is unusual in that it gives you a lengthy list of the type of tasks where tech support can help. These cover getting started (software installs and migrations, Google Apps setups, Perl/PECL module/extension installations, DNS configuration), firewall setup and email configuration, to more advanced advisory jobs like security audits – and of course troubleshooting everything from server boot failure to network issues and even script and website errors. The service includes all the usual core maintenance tasks, too – server and control panel updates, patches and monitoring – and you can contact HostPapa's support 24/7 via telephone, email and chat. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/ujWdt9nDuRLSAbApwEptGe.jpg Tsohost is a versatile UK-based web host with products to suit everyone from a total website newbie to the most demanding enterprise user. Managed hosting comes as standard with some of the high-end products, but home users aren't left out – there are handy support features available for everyone. Even the cheapest shared hosting package (£2.92 or $3.83 a month annually) comes with a free migration of a blog or simple business website, for instance. Higher spec plans come with one or more e-commerce migrations, where the company will relocate a complex transactional website to your new account. You get a dedicated engineer to manage the process at the date and time you choose (within an 8-hour window), and you can check the end results before the site goes live. Moving to the Tsohost VPS range gets you regular managed hosting features, including server monitoring and alerts, proactive threat detection, and full handling of software updates and security patches. There's in-depth support for running Redis, memory caching systems like Memcached or PHP optimizations such as opcode caching. Once you've installed the software you need, Tsohost will even help you customize and tweak it to suit your needs. Prices are higher than many competitors – even the most basic VPS product costs $52 (£39.99) a month – but they're not unreasonable for the service you get, and overall Tsohost is a must-see for professional and business users. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/57jJWfMhidJYpDtMwoPd89.jpg Most web hosts provide a basic level of WordPress setup support – a one-click installer, maybe advice on migrating your current site – but after that, you're typically left on your own. WP Engine offers a far more comprehensive managed WordPress service that can help you with setup, updates, security, performance optimization, troubleshooting and a whole lot more. Much of this is invisible to the end user, as a good managed service should be. No need to worry about WordPress updates, for instance – WP Engine handles these for you. Not blindly, simply when they're released, like many other hosts: the company tests them carefully, first, to make sure they don't cause problems. WP Engine's abilities become more apparent when you check out its support. The website knowledgebase is so crammed with detailed articles and in-depth webinars that it feels like a professional training course, and an expert support team is available by chat, 24/7, to help you quickly solve any problems. The powerful WP Engine platform adds many useful extras. A Staging area allows you to work on a copy of your site, which is perfect for testing new themes, plugins or anything else, without affecting the production site. In another highlight, integrated performance tests can benchmark your website and offer useful speedup tips. This level of power isn't cheap. Even the most basic WP Engine plan costs $31.5 (£24.9) a month, more than three times the price of the budget competition (although, you can get 10% discount on your first purchase, and annual plan gives you three months free). But if you're looking for an optimized environment, with quality tools and excellent support, this could be a price worth paying. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/yPvHMEfteiYeNo95XnDBTQ.jpg While all managed hosting providers take on basic website maintenance tasks – monitoring, installing patches – InMotion Hosting can go further, working with high-powered web technologies to set up a custom solution which matches your needs. This starts in a simple way, with InMotion Hosting's Launch Assist. Included free with VPS, Reseller and Dedicated hosting plans, this gives you two to four hours to have the Managed Hosting Team do whatever you need: migrate websites, install and optimize software, configure security, automate key tasks and just about anything else you might want to do. Day-to-day management tasks cover all the basics, including regular monitoring of your website and automatic updating of your software. InMotion still delivers more than you might expect, though, for example with a KernelCare feature which allows more updates without rebooting, avoiding costly downtime. What's even more interesting is InMotion Hosting's ability to customize your site. How well this goes will depend on what you need, but the InMotion website talks about setting up the ConfigServer firewall and OSSec's intrusion monitor, working with NGINX, tuning your Varnish caching, speeding up PHP and more. The price for all this depends on your hosting plan, but it might be less than you were expecting. Choosing managed, rather than self-managed VPS hosting, can add as little as $8 (£5.70) to the initial price of your plan, for instance, dropping to $27.99 (£21.8) on renewal – which sounds like a bargain to us. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/PaUPaDJpUXha8ddmgotA2V.jpg Liquid Web is an expert provider of high-end managed hosting solutions for everything from email to WordPress, WooCommerce, VPS, dedicated and assorted other cloud products. Most plans deliver far more than you might expect. Liquid Web doesn't just automatically update WordPress, for instance: it also updates your plugins in a separate, isolated environment to check for any issues before sending them live on your production site. Unlike other hosts, this level of management doesn't involve restricting what you can do. You can handle WordPress updating manually, if you prefer, some or all of the time. The plans give you full access to both the server and the database, too, essentially meaning you have the best of all worlds: expert WordPress management where you need it, but with detailed hands-on control of the site available as required. Liquid Web's VPS and dedicated server plans add even more managed hosting features covering many areas. The company has its own data centers with fully managed hardware and network infrastructure. Key software is installed, updated and supported, there are free external migrations, virus and spam protection keep threats at bay, and system monitoring enables speedy notification of problems. If you have problems anyway, a thorough SLA (service level agreement) guarantees a phone or chat response time of under a minute, and that you'll get an active response to the issue within 30 minutes. Liquid Web won't appeal to bargain hunters, and its baseline prices can be much higher than some of the competition ($39.99 or £31 – for a starter VPS, compared to a fiver for 1&1 IONOS. At the moment, you'll pay $19.99 for the first month). Those plans are often far more powerful, though (the company doesn't sell crippled products just to get a low headline price), and when you compare providers on features, Liquid Web often comes out ahead. Panasonic has made no secret of the fact that it's launching a new 10-25mm f/1.7 lens for its G-series cameras, and that news will have no doubt provided some relief to existing G-series users in light of the arrival of the newer S1 and S1R bodies. However, the company has only officially confirmed a few details of the new optic, and has only gone as far as showing it off at a handful of events – but a leaked spec sheet and press shots that have emerged tell us more. Update: We've received confirmation from Huawei that there has been some confusion internally, and the launch date of the new Android-replacing operating system, codenamed HongMeng, will not be launching in June this year. The brand has confirmed earlier statements from Richard Yu, outlining that the OS could be ready for China in late 2019 and internationally in 2020, are still accurate. The original story has been modified below to reflect this. Huawei's home-grown operating system - code-named HongMeng - that's set to replace Android once the Huawei ban from Google comes into full effect, will not be commercially rolled out next month, contrary to what TechRadar Middle East was told by a Middle East head for the firm. On May 20, Google announced that it would partially cut off Huawei devices from its Android operating system but was given an extension till August 19 by the US White House. Other tech companies also followed suit, including Intel, Qualcomm, Micron, ARM, etc. Even the Bluetooth, SD and WiFi alliances have also restricted their dealings with Huawei. "Huawei knew this was coming and was preparing. The OS was ready in January 2018 and this was our 'Plan B'. We did not want to bring the OS to the market as we had a strong relationship with Google and others and did not want to ruin the relationship. Now, we are rolling it out next month," Alaa Elshimy, Managing Director and Vice President of Huawei Enterprise Business Group Middle East, told TechRadar. However, representatives from Huawei's consumer group have contacted TechRadar, stating that this is not the case and the actual date is still slated for 2019 / 2020. Huawei ban: the global fallout explainedThe OS, which could be called Ark OS when launched, is expected to be compatible with mobile phones, computers, tablets, TVs, connected cars, smartwatch, smart wearables and others. All applications that work with Android are expected to work with this new OS without any need for further customization, Elshimy claims, adding that users will be able to download apps from the Huawei AppGallery. Whether all apps available via Google's Play Store will also feature in Huawei's store remains to be seen, as we've seen numerous operating systems before (Windows Phone, BlackBerry OS etc) fail to match the volume of Google's and Apple's app store offerings. If the HongMeng OS misses out on key apps, it could be difficult for Huawei to convince users to switch to handsets running the software. Huawei is self reliant"The US sanctions won't affect the company's operating system and the chipsets in any way as we are self-reliant in many aspects. "We have all the chipsets except the Intel chips for PCs and servers. Every single storage player in the market is using Qualcomm chipset and we are the only one using our own chipset. That is why we can go at the speed we want" Elshimy added. Moreover, he said that Huawei has its own ARM-based processor to replace Intel chips and will be launching its own database similar to Oracle soon. According to industry reports, Huawei buys more than $11 billion in goods and services from US companies each year. However, the Chinese player will now have to get government approval to buy parts or technology from US suppliers. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/cgZRbJCkrdfiEHyNBCtu8C.jpg What about WiFi?When asked about how Huawei phones are going to handle WiFi and Bluetooth issues, he said that WiFi is an international standard and Huawei is one of the biggest contributors to the WiFi Alliance. "In my view, the biggest loser will be the alliance if they keep us out of the alliance" Elshimy explained. "From an industry point of view, it is a standard and it is good if you meet the standard [but you] don’t need to be part of the alliance. The same answer applies to Bluetooth and SD cases.". However, he said that keeping Huawei out of the alliance is just putting pressure on Huawei as part of the trade war. Ren Zhengfei, Huawei’s CEO, recently made bold claims about the future of the company despite the protracted situation. He stated that no one could 'catch' Huawei in the next two or three years, as being a private company gives it the advantage because it can make large investments more easily. Whether this is the case remains to be seen, but Huawei is certainly doing all it can to try and ensure it has a future in smartphones despite the tough sanctions placed upon it. Worried that not enough of your home life is being recorded? Amazon has filed a patent for something called "pre-wakeword speech processing", which could lay the groundwork for an always-on Alexa device that never stops recording. The patent (via Gizmodo) was filed on January 24, and specifies "a system for capturing and processing portions of a spoken utterance command that may occur before a wakeword" – which would enable the Alexa voice assistant to act on commands you uttered before calling out Alexa's name. Amazon Echo reviewAll the best Amazon Alexa dealsAlexa skills and commands: everything Alexa can doOne of the few things that's kept user paranoia in check is the existence of the 'wake word'. You currently need to say the name 'Alexa' or 'Echo' in order for your Alexa-enabled speaker to start paying attention to your commands, meaning that you shouldn't have anything recorded unless you specifically ask for it. The change would mean you could reverse this order, dropping Alexa's name casually at the end – or even in the middle – of a verbal request. Saying "Turn down the lights, Alexa" rather than "Alexa, turn down the lights" may not seem like a drastic change in the way you interact with your Amazon Echo. But it could signal a move further into ongoing surveillance by smart speakers that many may not want from their smart speakers. User privacy is an increasingly hot topic, with reports of Amazon employees listening to audio recordings to improve Alexa's comprehension. This patent, however, also points towards a future where you can interact with Alexa in a more casual, natural way. Whether you think that's a good thing largely depends on whether you want a voice assistant you're in control of, or one that feels like a friend. Worried about Alexa spying on you? Our first baby steps with Python, which typically involve making a 'Hello World' program and a couple of typos, don't require much in the way of specialist tools. It's fine to hammer out the code in a text editor, switch to a terminal, and then run it. When it doesn't work, you can return to the editor, fix the typos, then run it again. However, as coding and testing becomes more complicated, involving multiple files and unit tests, these context switches become inefficient and frustrating. Life is easier when we can write, run and wrangle our code from the same place. Exactly where a fancy text editor stops and an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) begins is a fuzzy boundary. At a minimum, you'd want an application that: does syntax highlighting, code-folding and bracket-matching, has some awareness of the constituent source files of a project, and facilitates running the code (or part thereof). More advanced features might include code suggestions, a debugger, and integration with online repositories. In this article we've picked five of our favorite IDEs, which are efforts that we feel give a good overview of what's on offer. We’ve also chosen the best laptop for programmingWant your company or services to be added to this buyer’s guide? Please email your request to desire.athow@futurenet.com with the URL of the buying guide in the subject line.http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/ewFXRtWjTep6Aa3x9cqdL8.jpg Image credit: Atom Atom describes itself as a "hackable text editor for the 21st Century". It's maintained by social coding megalith GitHub, so as you'd expect it can do pretty much anything you can imagine. And if it can't, then someone's almost certainly working on a plugin to address that. Atom has its own comprehensive package manager, and a huge community working on packages for it. As well as built-in Git and GitHub integration, Atom allows you to collaborate on coding projects in real-time via the Teletype package. Several thousand other packages are available, but Python coders looking for a more efficient workflow would do well to seek out a script package. This offering is based on the electron framework, so Atom is cross-platform, but also has a not inconsiderable memory footprint. Coders who prefer their apps to be lightweight will balk at the 400MB (including its dependencies) install footprint and should look elsewhere. But even on a modest system it runs fine and all the functionality Atom provides means that it’s well worth the space investment. Despite all its features, Atom has a clean interface and is much more beginner-friendly than you'd expect. The project view is helpful once you start to dabble with bigger projects and you are free to split the panels of the interface to suit your fancy. You can download Atom herehttp://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/UHyFjS4Kg7z9aeyhx8LiGB.jpg Image credit: IDLE It's easy to overlook IDLE – Python's very own bespoke Integrated DeveLopment Environment. IDLE (named after Monty Python's Eric Idle) is fairly minimal compared to some of the other offerings around, but it has everything you need and certainly won't get in your way. It’s coded in Python and uses the lightweight tkinter toolkit to draw its GUI. Starting IDLE will open a Python shell, just as you get when starting Python from the terminal. You can play around with code snippets here, with the bonus that keywords and output will be nicely colored. Moving on from here you can open a new window to start coding proper. Your code will be appropriately highlighted and automatically indented, with a configurable indent level. IDLE supports using spaces or tabs for indentation, and can automagically convert between the two – plus it can indent multiple lines at a time. IDLE lacks any project management facilities, but that’s no problem if your project spans only a handful of files. It has a powerful debugger which allows single-stepping through the code or over-stepping through each high level function. The debugger shows the call stack as well as the state of local and global variables. You can download IDLE herehttp://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/mMtYN4RNtXPfAUJnnX4AXE.jpg Image credit: Thonny Thonny is the least ‘developer-centric’ of all the IDEs we’ve highlighted here, but that doesn't mean it's any less powerful. It's developed at the University of Tartu in Estonia, and is itself written in Python. It features a powerful debugger that's great for learning the ins and outs of coding without worrying about how breakpoints work. The debugger can show you the state of variables as the program runs. It lets you take small or large steps through the program, which is great if you’re tracking down hard to find bugs. This is much better practice than – as beginners and seasoned coders alike are occasionally tempted to do – peppering your code with messy print() statements. Thonny will automatically indent as you type, which is helpful for anyone new to Python since the language uses indentation to delineate functions, loops, classes, clauses, etc. It will autocomplete your code and provide bracket/parentheses matching. It will also helpfully highlight any syntax errors. It would be ideal for beginners, but for the fact it's a little tricky to install if you're unfamiliar with Python packages and in particular pip (a package manager for Python). That said, it is included as standard in new versions of Raspbian and is well-suited to Raspberry Pi projects. It's just a shame that other distros don't include Thonny in their repos. You can download Thonny herehttp://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/wpRCs8tc5QEXbBuJfTKX3H.jpg Image credit: Visual Studio Code Once the nemesis of FOSS software, Microsoft has, under the stewardship of Satya Nadella, taken a much friendlier stance towards all things open source. The company may not be about to release the source code to Visual Studio, but in 2015 it did release a source code editor, Visual Studio Code – or Code for short – and open sourced the core of it. Code has since become rather popular amongst developers, and it's a fine choice for your Python projects too, once you've installed the Python extension, that is. Code has its own debugger, supports linting, and has integration with all manner of source control tools. It has a built-in terminal too, and a well-stocked extensions marketplace (don't worry, they're free). It can also run and debug your project's unit tests through the unittest, pytest or nose frameworks. If all this sounds a little too much, it also has a minimalist 'zen mode' which shows you only the file you're working on, hiding not just Code's interface, but the rest of your desktop too. Code is highly configurable, and it has a settings panel that will delight those of a certain mind-set – each section unfolds the corresponding section of the settings.json file, all nicely highlighted of course. Like Atom, code is an Electron app, so is cross-platform and a little bulky. Unlike Atom it has support for Intellisense, Microsoft's own take on code completion. For Python, as well as just suggesting completions, this also provides on-the-fly popups showing the documentation for classes and methods. You can download Visual Studio Code herehttp://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/6i4yciPVqRPgoNBi2QsgsK.jpg Image credit: Eric This powerful cross-platform IDE – which, like IDLE, is named after Eric Idle – is written in Python and uses the Qt library. Though Python is its focus, Eric (lowercase is the intended spelling) has excellent support for Ruby, and other languages too. It supports the bread and butter tasks we've come to expect: code folding, code completion, brace matching. But there's so much more that you'll need to use its built-in (and automated) TODO list generation to keep track. It has an integrated class browser and powerful debugger, and thanks to being built-in Qt supports building GUIs via Qt Designer. The initial configuration screen may seem daunting, but most of it can be put off till later. While the interface does look busy, there's no reason you can't use eric as a simple code (or even plaintext) editor. But it really comes into its own for more serious coding – there's even a built-in hex editor, SQL browser and icon designer. It supports unit tests and can debug both multithreaded and multiprocessing programs, which as anyone who dabbles in such things will testify, generate the worst kind of bugs. It supports Mercurial and SVN version control natively, and Git support is available through a plugin. Like Code, there's support for real-time collaboration on code. In short, if you want a feature-rich Python powerhouse, eric is for you. You can download Eric hereMore Python IDEsWing IDE 101 is a simple and free Python IDE intended to help new programmers get used to coding in Python. There are a number of resources to help with training, and Wing IDE 101 is available for download for Windows, macOS, and Linux. CodeSkulptor is a browser-based IDE for Python. The aim is to provide an easy to use platform for people new to Python to practice their programming skills. This makes it especially ideal for groups to use, as it means they will be using the same version and code editor, and this is made all the more helpful by users not having to download and install software directly. PyScripter is an open source IDE that includes many of the basic required features, such as a syntax highlighting editor, integrated Python interpreter and debugger, project and file explorer, as well as the ability to customize and run a Python script externally. PyDev is another Python IDE, this time for Eclipse, and can use Python, Jython, and IronPython. It contains a number of features such as Django integration, and debugging that can catch referrals as well as be done remotely. There are also integrations for PyLint and unit testing. PyCharm is a Python IDE for professional developers provided by JetBrains, so it's a paid-for program that costs $149 (£120) for a licence, with this dropping to $89 (£75) a year after three years. There's an impressive toolset included, such as intelligent assistance, web development frameworks, scientific tools, cross-technology development, and a huge collection of developer tools included. http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/techradar/digital-home/~4/8petDqvR-7M

Today's businesses rely on data, especially real-time data. Without it, companies have a slim chance to make a mark in their industries. The internet is the best data source for businesses looking to analyze their competitors, their products and services, their methods and processes, their successes and failures, and shared customers. As the scale of businesses is ever growing, so is the need to collect a vast amount of data both efficiently and rapidly. Reaching this scale requires three major elements: public data sources, automation, and vast networking solutions (known as proxy networks). Although all three are vital, the latter can make or break any data mining operation. A world where data manages dataDo you speak data? Retailers and the data literacy opportunity4 trends that are changing the data conversationTrue value of dataNowadays, data backs the most valuable business decisions, and almost all profitable business decisions are betting on real-time data. So, whether the information is collected for e-commerce market analysis and price comparison, or marketing lead generation purposes, or any other reason such as SEO monitoring, brand protection, ad verification, to name a few, it is evident that data-driven solutions dictate current and foreseeable business strategies. Essentially, it does not matter which element of your business gains the most value from data, as the major challenge is to have a robust data gathering solution to keep up with your business’ needs. Regardless of business size, only data will allow you to stay competitive and outsmart your competitors in the long run. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/EXSXDt8E5cMVzGzPBhgeuC.jpg Image credit: Shutterstock Web data gathering tools and obstaclesAs there is no shortage of great public data sources on the web (think public directories for sales leads or e-commerce marketplaces for price analysis), we need to focus on automation, first. Web scraping, also known as data scraping, is a widely used and thriving method among many businesses for extracting data from various internet resources. It is an automated process which involves the use of a software script or a web crawler to capture desirable information for later analysis. Most established websites are real data goldmines for a variety of businesses and entrepreneurs. Nevertheless, when it comes to extracting data from these public sources, more often than not there are obstacles to be faced with. Whenever a website receives a significantly larger volume of data requests, it starts to limit access to its data and blocks or slows down the data extraction process. Here is where proxies come in. Proxies, in short, allow an automated script to use different IP addresses. These IP addresses are what websites use to identify visitors, thus a web scraper which connects to a site through 1,000 proxies will appear as 1,000 different users to that site. If all of those connections came from a single IP address, any site would block it immediately, because it would look like a denial-of-service (DDoS) attack. By harnessing proxies, businesses and entrepreneurs can successfully gather as much data as they need, and consequently, capture and create opportunities on demand. Although it seems rather straightforward at first: all you need is a good data source, a web scraping script and a proxy provider to kick start the data hunt. The reality, however, is quite different. Proxyway recently published an in-depth market research paper on the global proxy service providers and revealed the real quality, speed and overall performance of proxy provider’s products and services. The report’s performance section findings emphasize just how essential it is to thoroughly check, test, and evaluate every proxy network before starting any data gathering operation. Vetting proxies are essential for every data source, especially the most popular ones. Otherwise, businesses and entrepreneurs might be gathering data that is an order of magnitude worse than what the market has to offer. In some cases, bad proxies will bring back false data, further sabotaging a business. Success rates for web data gathering exposedProxyway’s research team set out to test all major proxy providers in a first market research paper of its kind and discovered that web data gathering has a severe bottleneck. The performance research section examined proxy providers success rates while collecting intelligence from some of the data-wealthiest websites online. The results were surprising, as some established companies could not provide a passable level of access to some of the best data sources. The report clearly shows that three proxy providers – Oxylabs, Geosurf, and Smartproxy – have the most versatile proxy infrastructure on offer with a highly-respectable 85% average success rate, while half of the providers offer below par proxies to aid data extraction operations. Perhaps most unexpectedly, the report found that market share leaders Luminati under performed when it came to the quality of products and services on offer: its network’s success rate fell over 9–11% below that of their top competitors, as well as being relatively slow as to other providers. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/KSMqTetYmtEjRvaHpJbAaR.jpg Image credit: Shutterstock All about the data sourceEvery business must determine the best sources for data to unlock the most valuable insights. For instance, e-commerce companies would benefit from exploring the most prominent online marketplaces for data on pricing intelligence, consumer behavior or trending patterns. According to carried out market research, businesses that are after this kind of data should look into Geosurf, Oxylabs and Storm Proxies proxy providers to achieve the highest data gathering success rates. Whereas, businesses in the travel industry would benefit from analyzing data from the leading travel and accommodation sites to gather insights on seasonal travel routes, tourist volume or price comparisons. So, when it comes to extracting intelligence from such sites, findings show that Geosurf, Luminati, and Smartproxy should be among the top picks for this particular audience. Ultimately, search engines are the best data source for digital marketing. Concluded tests discovered that Oxylabs, Smartproxy, and Geosurf would be the most suitable partners to execute successful data extraction operations from the most popular search engines. The bottom lineThe proxy review website’s report reveals not only the strengths and limitations of the test subject’s networks against the most popular data sources but also provides an in-depth review of each proxy provider. Perhaps, most importantly, it allows businesses and entrepreneurs to base their choices on facts and reliable data, as opposed to marketing and advertising material. If more businesses would use the most suitable tools for data gathering and analysis, they would not only ensure that their web data gathering is more success than failure but would also directly benefit wider society by offering the best products and services. The highlighting feature of the Huawei P30 Pro is the unbelievable camera present on it. Capable of stunning night time photography as well as videography and a never-seen before 50x digital zoom, the Huawei P30 Pro can take photos and videos like no other phone. But there is a lot more to the Huawei P30 than just the camera. While the camera might be the feature to pull you in, there is plenty about this phone that make it stand as a flagship champion. We’ve been using the Huawei P30 Pro for over a month now and here are some observations about it. Let’s start with the performance. The Huawei P30 Pro is one of the smoothest Android devices thanks to the powerful Kirin 980 processor with 8GB of RAM. This combination lets you easily multi-task between different applications with no slow-downs. When it comes to gaming, GPU Turbo 3.0 makes sure your games get all the power you need with maximum performance and minimizing distractions from notifications or phone calls. The hefty 256GB of storage will allow you to store all your games without filling up the phone. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/7pxTwWGAG4oAQmzhTjMuDK.jpg Besides top-notch performance, the P30 Pro also introduces an acoustic display which allows sound to travel from under the screen. This helps reclaim screen space that is usually occupied by an ear-piece allowing for maximum screen estate. Sound quality from this speaker is loud enough for you to carry your conversation while being discreet enough to not have others hear it. Huawei has also improved the in-screen fingerprint sensor that is quicker than any other phone with that feature that we’ve used. Huawei claims it is 30% faster than their previous generation and the results are very noticeable. You’d think that a phone with such high specs and a massive 6.7 inch display would deplete your battery fast but the 4,200mAh battery on the P30 Pro easily lasts a day and two if you’re a bit careful. Huawei has made sure that you don’t waste much time charging the battery either. The bundled 40W charger can power the P30 Pro up to 70% in just 30 minutes. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/pPsv4xLTXFonpXZHB9Cm6K.jpg The phone also supports wireless charging for convenience and is quicker to charge using than most other phones using that method as well. Reverse wireless charging, that was first introduced with the Huawei Mate 20, is also back allowing you to charge accessories or even mobile phones that support wireless charging. Moving on to the camera, we’ve said it over and over again that the Huawei P30 Pro rightfully owns the title of the Super camera phone and through software updates, Huawei is making it even better. The new Super Spectrum sensor is magical letting you take pictures and videos in darkness that are unbelievable while insane 50X zoom levels newly introduced in the HUAWEI P30 Pro, lets you take photos of objects like the moon that have never been possible with mobile phones before. The following is a gallery of sample shots we’ve taken from the Huawei P30 Pro: A recent update added the dual view video capability to the device that we’ve talked about more separately. Also worth highlighting is the TOF sensor that is capable of detecting multiple levels of depth creating stunning bokeh images. This mode also works with videos and allows you to get really creative. Here is a sample video from the device. All in all, the Huawei P30 Pro was an incredible flagship from Huawei when released and while the focus with the P series has always been on camera and design, there is a lot more to the P30. Huawei is pushing software updates to make the device even better. It truly is the flagship champion. http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/techradar/digital-home/~4/0flsFsRQCyk

What are the first things that come to mind when you think of London? It might be the Royal family, and with that the glamor of penthouses, casinos, and swanky modern architecture that populate the city’s skyline. Or perhaps it’s the gritty East End cockney geezers popularized by early Guy Ritchie movies and British hardmen like Danny Dyer. But if we’re talking about the sound of London, it would have to be grime. Since the genre’s roots in the capital’s underground scene from the early 2000s, it has become one of the most significant musical developments within the UK for decades. For new London-set PSVR action game Blood and Truth, developed by Sony’s London Studio with an aim to authentically capture contemporary London, having grime as an integral part of its sound was therefore a no-brainer. “You turn a corner from a penthouse and then you’re in a council estate, and no matter what street you’re on at night it’s still gritty - it’s beautiful, and dark.â€Eyez In fact, it’s come full circle for grime to be soundtracking a videogame. The genre has its roots in the medium, its retro blips and MIDI sounds a favorite for sampling, from Street Fighter II to ‘godfather of grime’ Wiley’s ‘ ’. Grime producer Sir Pixalot had even unearthed an obscure Wolverine Mega Drive/SNES game from back in 1994, containing what might be considered the ‘ ’.It’s a sentiment shared by Eyez who, along with other grime artists including JME, Kamakaze and Ocean Wisdom, have contributed to Blood and Truth’s soundtrack. “I also produce, so I use a lot of old-school sounds and sound effects you get from games,” Eyex tells us. “Even grime itself was made from a program called Fruity Loops (FL Studio), which is used by gamers as well, so a lot of the sounds in our genre is from games.” You only live grimehttp://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/x7MHjVyPAx4p4zy2bn5HM5.jpg The game’s got more bangers going off than just the explosions (Image credit: SIE London Studio) Of course, the grime you hear in Blood and Truth has a major difference. With an emphasis on immersing you as an action hero in your own blockbuster, an obvious influence was the kind of grand orchestral scores you get from James Bond films. But as a big triple-A action game in modern London, the developers hit on an idea of mixing classical strings and brass with the bass and beats of grime. Grime, coined for its gritty aesthetic, with production values like a 70-piece orchestra? As Dizzee Rascal might say, it sounds bonkers! Sceptics might even see this as a corporate studio trying to make their game sound more ‘street’ while at the same time trying to make it sound more ‘respectable’ - you might even draw an allegory of the gentrification that London has undergone in recent decades. But for game composers Joe Thwaites and Jim Fowler, it was really about combining two seemingly contrasting sounds to do something special, and that was achieved through collaboration. “We recorded the orchestra - strings, brass, and percussion - all separately in different stems and then we’d give these stems to Zdot, who’s a grime producer, and then he would basically remix them and create different tracks,” Thwaites tells us. It’s Zdot’s beats that Eyez then raps over, punctuating key set pieces during the game, such as a frenetic car chase shoot-outs. In fact, if you play really well, pulling all manner of tricks and headshots, not only do you increase your gauge on the ‘badass-o-meter’ but the bass and beats take over as the soundtrack goes full grime. For Eyez, the juxtaposition of orchestral grime actually fits London’s mixed culture. “You got the lower classes and upper classes side by side,” he says. “You turn a corner from a penthouse and then you’re in a council estate, and no matter what street you’re on at night it’s still gritty - it’s beautiful, and dark.” You might say the orchestra, rather than elevating grime, respectfully meets it on the same level, similarly to how Zdot takes the orchestral stems and subverts them. “Even though I do grime, I appreciate music in so many different ways, and I’ve worked with an orchestra when I was younger,” Eyez elaborates. “In a studio environment, there’s more to learn musically, watching how these musicians work under pressure and do things with their instruments they don’t normally do. “So someone’s playing a cello, plucking it and holding it in a weird way, trying to make a grime noise that’s like a game noise, which is not normally how you play it.” Licence to mixhttp://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/Gm48ubLovkigryQ3vs6e3X.jpg We’re used to car music in GTA, but Blood and Truth takes it to another level. (Image credit: SIE London Studio) Blood and Truth’s creative use of music also extends to its use of licensed tracks, which aren’t exclusively grime, such as an opening car chase soundtracked to Tim Deluxe’s dance floor banger ‘It Just Won’t Do’ playing on the radio. While it starts like the kind of diegetic music you’d expect, the composers do something much more subtle by blending the licensed track with the orchestral score until it miraculously transitions into the score itself - a truly immersive effect in VR. Such a feat basically requires making an orchestral remix of the track, which means getting the blessing of the track’s artists. “We were really lucky to work on licensed music where we had relationships with Sony labels,” explains Thwaites. “We were able to build relationships with the artists of the tracks and they were excited to have orchestral versions of their track. “A lot of them came down to the recordings too and had inputs on how we could it in different directions, so it was a very collaborative project." "I don’t think anybody can say it’s theft of our genre or culture - if anything, it’s pushing our sound out to the gaming world."Eyez Considering the recent controversy over Fortnite stealing dance moves, notably ones invented by black actors and rappers, the kind of collaboration with artists demonstrated by Sony is refreshing in comparison, a triple-A studio paying respect to grime. But then you might say PlayStation has always had its finger on the pulse of the underground, harking back to when it installed original PlayStations in London’s Ministry of Sound and the club music which soundtracked futuristic racer Wipeout. Incidentally, Eyez recalls a music production game he once had on PlayStation 2 where the default BPM was 140, the default tempo for grime, so in a way the two had subliminally always been entwined. “We’re really lucky for Playstation to incorporate our stuff into their production,” he says. “I don’t think anybody can say it’s theft of our genre or culture - if anything, it’s pushing our sound out to the gaming world.” Read more: Blood and Truth: how Sony’s London Studio is taking VR to the next levelhttp://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/techradar/digital-home/~4/n0H5MEq1ArI

There’s been a lot of news regarding Huawei and the US Government over the last few days and just like any xxx story, it comes with a fair amount of misinformation and miscommunication. Huawei has risen to being the second largest phone maker in the world which is also the spot it enjoys in the Middle East currently. After intensive research, we have collected statements available to the public online and put together a quick guide on some of the concerns and questions customers have regarding their Huawei phones. Your phone will not stop workingThere has been a lot of confusion amongst owners of Huawei phones that their phones will stop working. That is simply not true. Your phone will continue to operate just like it normally does like any other phone. It will also continue to be serviced by Huawei. In a public statement, the company mentioned: "Huawei will continue to provide security updates and after-sales services to all existing Huawei and Honor smartphone and tablet products, covering those that have been sold and that are still in stock globally.” Your phone will not receive any updatesAgain, this is not true. All phones that have been released by Huawei will continue to get security updates for Android as well as app updates from the Google Play Store. Here is Google’s statement issued to TechRadar: “We are complying with the order and reviewing the implications. For users of our services, Google Play and the security protections from Google Play Protect will continue to function on existing Huawei devices,” a spokesperson told us. As the statement above suggests, current devices from Huawei will continue to get security updates and access to the Play Store for the foreseeable future, as Google has promised not to leave those out in the cold. People are selling off their Huawei phonesPeople buy and sell phones- that’s nothing new and how the market operates. But has there been a mass sell-off of Huawei devices leading prices to crash? Data from dubizzle, the largest second hand market place in the UAE does not suggest that. Looking at the first three pages of their mobile phones for sale section, the majority of the phones being sold are either Apple or Samsung brand. This clearly suggests that people are holding on to their Huawei phones which they should. Huawei is a massive company and one of the biggest Android partnersWhen you’re buying a Huawei product, you’re buying a product from one of the largest Android partners. Huawei will continue to provide support for all it’s phones for the lifetime of that phone. It’s also worth noting that this announcement hasn’t stopped Huawei from launching new phones. The Honor 20 was recently launched globally while a new Y series phone from Huawei is also all set for a release. This means that Huawei is confident in its products and willing to support the end-user whatever the outcome of the current issue at hand be. http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/techradar/digital-home/~4/re8SnSH1c_8

In June 2018, the World Health Organization (WHO) proposed adding “gaming disorder” to its list of globally recognized diseases, and now the Organization has officially agreed on the addition. The 11th revision of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD-11) has officially placed “gaming disorder” alongside “gambling disorder” in its list of “disorders due to addictive behaviours”. Specifically, this is categorized by “impaired control over gaming [...], increasing priority given to gaming to the extent that gaming takes precedence over other life interests and daily activities, and continuation or escalation of gaming despite the occurrence of negative consequences.” The ICD-11 includes both online and offline gaming and addresses habits that are either continuous or episodic. For diagnosis, the patient would typically be exhibiting the aforementioned behavior for a period of at least 12 months, although this can be shortened if “symptoms are severe”. Gaming disorder will soon be classified as a mental health conditionSimilarly, an entry titled “hazardous gaming” has been included as a “factor influencing health status”, which “refers to a pattern of gaming, either online or offline that appreciably increases the risk of harmful physical or mental health consequences to the individual or to others around this individual”. “The increased risk may be from the frequency of gaming, from the amount of time spent on these activities, from the neglect of other activities and priorities, from risky behaviours associated with gaming or its context, from the adverse consequences of gaming, or from the combination of these.” This is an ‘exclusion’ to the aforementioned “gaming disorder”, which means you can’t be diagnosed with both illnesses. Fallout 4 player finds the game too addictive, so he sues BethesdaTake it back...In response to the classification, representatives of the global video game industry – from the US, Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, South Africa and Brazil – have requested that the WHO changes its decision. In a public statement, the gaming industry has claimed that the decision to include “gaming disorder” in ICD-11 is not based on “sufficiently robust evidence”. The Global Video Game Industry Association is “concerned [WHO] reached their conclusion without the consensus of the academic community”. They also warned that “the consequences of today’s action could be far-reaching, unintended, and to the detriment of those in need of genuine help”. While the adoption of the ICD-11 has been officially agreed upon, it won’t actually come into effect until January 1, 2022, so the gaming industry still has a few years to make its case. We’ve finally made it, NHL fans...Stanley Cup Finals time. The Boston Bruins defeated the North Carolina Hurricanes 4-0 to ease through the Eastern Conference Final and St. Louis Blues beat the San Jose Sharks 4-2 to win in the west and claim their spot. Now the two teams will face off in a best-of-seven final to see which team will take 2019's top honours. And you can get a Bruins vs Blues live stream in the Stanley Cup Finals, regardless of where you are in the world. This year’s match-up is a tale of two very different hockey teams. At the beginning of this year, the Blues were at the bottom of the league and many thought they wouldn’t have a chance at the Stanley Cup this season. However, by adding interim coach Graig Berube, the team entered into a months-long run that put them into the playoffs and now the Stanley Cup Final. The Bruins on the other hand, have been considered a favorite for years and had a helping hand from the Columbus Blue Jackets who knocked the Tampa Bay Lighting out of the playoffs with a four-game sweep. The Blues haven’t made it to the Stanley Cup Final for 50 seasons while the Bruins expect to be there every year. Will the underdog be able to keep up the momentum and bring home the toughest trophy to win in all of sports or will the favorite triumph once again? Whether you’re a fan of the Blues, the Bruins or just love watching NHL hockey, we’ll show you how to live stream the Stanley Cup Final online from anywhere in the world so you don’t miss any of the action at this year’s games. Andy Ruiz Jr is making his way out of his home in Mexico for a US debut in New York where he hopes to win Anthony Joshua's heavyweight titles. That means he could win – deep breath – IBF, WBA Super, WBO and IBO world heavyweight titles. No pressure then. Want to see whether he can upset the boxing odds? You're in the right place to see how to get a Joshua vs Ruiz Jr live stream - regardless of where on Earth you are. The undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, Anthony Joshua, will be stepping into the ring for the first time since September last year. He was due to fight Jarrell Miller but that fight fell through after Miller failed the drugs tests. That's how Ruiz Jr now has the chance to step up in class to take on the champion. But it's thought this fight will be in the hands of the champ as a setup to a fight between him and Deontay Wilder. He'll have to take care of business at Madison Square Garden on Saturday first, though. Joshua has so far had 22 fights which he won every one of with 21 KOs. But Ruiz has had 33 fights, won 32 and also got 21 KOs. So, on paper, Ruiz Jr could be a real threat. You won't want to miss it - read on to see how to get that Joshua vs Ruiz Jr live stream. OnePlus promised it was coming and now it's here: an updated version of OxygenOS that primarily focuses on getting better pictures out of the rear camera on the OnePlus 7 Pro, particularly in low light. In fact the OxygenOS 9.5.4/9.5.5 release notes specifically mention both Nightscape (the low light mode on the phone) and HDR as areas that should see improvements once the patch has been applied. White balance and focus are also mentioned as now being more reliable "in several scenarios", so you should find yourself getting better shots more often with the new version of the OS on board your flagship. News from the iPhone 11 rumor millSamsung reportedly prepping a new 2019 phoneOur thoughts on the Motorola One Vision"Thanks for the overwhelming amount of feedback we received both positive and constructive from users of the OnePlus 7 Pro's triple camera, both from within the media and our own community," adds OnePlus. Can we fix it?In our review of the OnePlus 7 Pro, we mentioned that the triple-lens rear camera is "good, but not great", so if the software updates to the phone make a significant difference we'll be sure to let you know. It's not the first software update the OnePlus 7 Pro has received in its short life and it's not going to be the last either – OnePlus has said it's investigating issues with phantom taps being registered on the screen, though a fix isn't included this time round. As we know from the quality of pictures that the Pixel phones are capable of – phones with a single 12.2-megapixel camera lens – image processing on the software side can make a big difference to the quality of a final shot. We'll have to wait and see what sort of improvements OxygenOS 9.5.4/9.5.5 can make. The roll out is a staged one, so if you don't see it on your phone yet, you should in the next few days. The days of sharing AirPods buds between you and a friend could be coming to an end: a new rumor suggests the iPhone 11 will have the ability to beam audio to two Bluetooth devices at the same time. Respected Apple blog Macotakara has the story, via sources in the Asian supply chain, suggesting that dual Bluetooth audio is coming to the next batch of flagship iPhones. Recent iPhone models can already connect to two Bluetooth devices at once, but can only play audio through one of them at a time. This works separately to AirPlay, which is also able to handle multiple audio devices simultaneously. More on the upcoming iPhone 11Samsung is readying another phonemacOS has a serious security bugThe example that Macotakara gives is being able to hook up both a car stereo and headphones at the same time, while you're on the road – music and navigation instructions could be sent to different devices. Bring your own AirPodsAs useful as dual Bluetooth audio is, it can be difficult to get right from a technical perspective – as we've seen from the small number of Android phones on the market that already offer it. Assuming Apple can get it right, it would make sharing tunes with a friend on the bus much more straightforward, if you both had a pair of AirPods to hand. Those little wireless earbuds may well be the focus of the new feature, if it arrives. The iPhone 11 is also rumored to be able to charge up a pair of AirPods, while we've seen regular reports that upgraded AirPods are also on the way. We'll find out for sure when September rolls around and the new iPhone 11 models appear. Before then, WWDC 2019 should tell us more about iOS 13. Just because a device has Alexa inside it doesn't mean it can do everything an Amazon Echo can – but Amazon just rolled out an update that adds another feature to third-party devices that was previously an Echo exclusive. The feature in question is Alexa Announcements, which lets you ping every smart speaker in your home with the same message: "dinner's ready", for example, or "please will someone walk the dog". Now the feature is becoming available on every certified Alexa built-in product, Amazon says. In other words you might find a few more devices in your home carrying the message next time you broadcast one. Check out the new Amazon Fire 7 tabletOrder take-out food straight from GoogleAlexa now works with 60,000+ devicesAlexa Announcements support was already available on some non-Echo devices – including Sonos smart speakers – but it's now officially rolling out to everyone who makes an Alexa-enabled device and meets Amazon's standards for such a gadget. Alexa for allIt's encouraging to see an increasing level of parity between Amazon Echo speakers and third-party Alexa devices – it means you can buy a non-Amazon Alexa-ready piece of hardware with more confidence about what you're getting. "Amazon will continuously improve the Announcement feature to create better customer experiences and to ensure consistency across all Alexa built-in devices," Amazon says. The company is obviously keen to get the full-fat version of Alexa pushed out to as many devices as possible, even if it ends up hitting Amazon Echo sales in the long term. For Amazon the most important thing is that you're using Alexa. The expansion of Alexa Announcements is also another reminder of the appeal of buying smart speakers and smart displays – the features and functions on these devices are getting upgraded all the time. We still don’t know exactly what to expect when 5G arrives – we know it will provide quicker and more reliable connection to the internet, but we still don’t know how this will affect the way we game or stream media on our phones. Network providers in countries around the world have launched, or are preparing to launch, 5G networks, and companies like Samsung, Motorola and Oppo have already released compatible phones, so the 5G future we’re anticipating is visible on the horizon. This 5G infrastructure isn’t exactly widespread yet, so to see how 5G might change our mobile gaming habits we took a look at Hatch, a cloud gaming app that’s already out, ready for when all our phones are 5G-enabled. Since 5G isn’t available yet in most places we used the app over Wi-Fi and 4G, to get a feel for how the app runs on a fast (ish) connection, as well as what it feels like to stream games on the go. Gaming on the go When we loaded up Hatch we were greeted by a home page full of various games, a lot like the Play Store or the App Store, except when we selected a game we could jump straight in (after a short load) – we didn’t have to wait for the game to download. We could also jump between games whenever we wanted, and the fact we had all these games at our disposal made the option to change games when we were getting tired of one (or were performing terribly at Angry Birds again) a lot more tempting – it was easy to play a few minutes of different games in one session. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/QXubZz3uYqoMTtU85sRV6Q.jpg The Hatch home screen. Image credit: TechRadar / Hatch Hatch recommends certain games, both in terms of traditional app stores ‘Editor’s Picks’ and also through an option on the home page that lets you choose a genre and have Hatch load up a random game that fits the brief. When we chose this we were dropped into a game, usually one that we hadn’t heard of before, and it helped us discover some gems we would never have thought of downloading. The games on Hatch are all ‘traditional’ mobile games like Angry Birds, Hitman Go and Monument Valley, as opposed to similar cloud streaming service Google Stadia, which aims to offer blockbuster titles. Joseph Knowles, director of communications at Hatch, told TechRadar “touchscreen games that are designed for mobile will always have a natural edge over games that are not designed for mobile”, and so the app won’t feel much competition from other cloud gaming services. Despite Hatch’s website saying otherwise, there are ads on the app, but it’s free to download and play games, so most users will probably feel that ads are a small price to pay. A larger price we paid was for the connection, as gaming when out and about while on 4G did eat up quite a bit of data, and meant slower load times. What Hatch tells us about 5G gaming The big draw to cloud gaming with 5G is that you won’t need to download games, which has two benefits: it saves space on your phone, so devices with plenty of storage like the pricey 1TB Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus won’t be necessary for having loads of games; and it means you can play new games on impulse, without having to spend ages downloading something only to realise you don’t enjoy it. This will open up the mobile games market – instead of players only downloading games that sit at the top of download lists, they’ll be more likely to try something new, especially if an app like Hatch can introduce them to a random game when they ask. Smaller developers, then, will have a much easier way of getting their games out to a wider audiences. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/5Uprf926PT8CLEfUQkf75Q.jpg We could easily jump from one game straight into another. Image credit: TechRadar / Hatch Knowles described cloud gaming’s unique edge as “lowering consumers’ barrier to entry and dramatically growing the addressable market for games”, so people who aren’t typically mobile gamers could get drawn in by the ease of access. You won’t need a processing-powerhouse gaming phone like the Black Shark 2 either, which again lowers the barriers to entry. What do we want to know about 5G? The main question Hatch leaves us asking is how much 5G will cost consumers – if people are using lots of their data for cloud gaming and other similar tasks it could end up costing a lot, depending on how much 5G contracts cost. Hatch, and online games we’ve played, can often eat through data, and we’re expecting 5G will cost a little more than 4G, so playing games on the go could see you racking up a sizeable bill. When we asked EE how much the UK’s 5G network would cost it told us it was still finalizing its pricing plans, but Marc Allera, CEO of BT’s consumer brands, said in an interview it would be “a bit like 4G [...] a few pounds more than 3G”. While several other network providers have pledged that 5G will cost the same as 4G, we’re also expecting most people on 5G will use a lot more data thanks to the ease of use the connectivity provides, so we’re not sure how much extra 5G will end up costing. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/NKhvVZhaQfvLBXEiLTad4Q.jpg Image credit: TechRadar / Hatch We asked Knowles about how people access Hatch, and he told us the app is used in different ways in different markets – so while players in the UK tended to stick to Wi-Fi, people in countries with affordable data plans, like Finland, were much more likely to use data to play games. It seems that 5G gaming’s popularity could be dependant on its affordability, as people aren’t going to be likely to stream games if it’ll cost them a fortune. We’re also intrigued to see what 5G and cloud gaming mean for smartphone hardware – newer phones push the envelope with increasingly fast chipsets and ever more storage, but neither will be as crucial for apps like Hatch in which the game is processed online, as they are currently for gaming. Instead, more reliable network connectivity and better-looking displays will become more important in a handset for cloud gamers. The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G has a pretty impressive chipset and quite a bit of internal memory at 256GB or 512GB, but we could see the hypothetical Samsung Galaxy S11 5G (or whatever it’s called) prioritize features like screen technology or sound quality over improvements to the memory and processor. The benefits of 5G won’t be apparent straight away, and it’ll take a few years for phone manufacturers and app developers to figure out how to make the most of the reliable and near-instantaneous connectivity it should be provide – but Hatch gives us an insight in to what 5G means for mobile games and cloud gaming. http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/techradar/digital-home/~4/U9euBKkzyzw

They call it football's most richest game. They say it's worth in excess of £150m to the club that wins it. But when the players of Aston Villa and Derby County walk on to the Wembley turf for the 2019 EFL Championship play-off final today, that will be the furthest thing from their minds. It's all about that place in the Premier League and only one team can grab it. Find out who with an Aston Villa vs Derby live stream - no matter where in the world you are. The two sides have had very different EFL Championship seasons at this point, but equally tense semi-finals to overcome. Up until February, it looked like Aston Villa were destined for a mid-table finish. But then a 4-0 defeat of Derby themselves sparked a 10-game winning streak for Dean Smith's men. Tammy Abraham's 25 league goals and Jack Grealish's youthful determination were big factors in this and Villa will be marginal favourites to head back to the big time. The drama of their penalty shoot-out win against neighbours West Brom was matched by Derby County's remarkable comeback semi-final defeat of old enemy Leeds United. Managed by the legendary Frank Lampard, Derby loitered around the play-off places all season and a strong finish secured sixth place in the Championship. Loanees Harry Wilson, Mason Mount and Mason Bennett will all be important players today, led by stalwart centre-back and club captain Richard Keough who has his own play-off final demons to exorcise. To see who will join the likes of Man City, Liverpool, Manchester United and the rest in the Premier League next season, you're in exactly the right place to see how to get an Aston Villa vs Derby live stream to watch all the action from Wembley unfold. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/VgyagGS9HpAEPUQtUJBfrg.jpg http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/B9XNGCRYNHKJzN5zVfTMje.jpg How to stream Aston Villa vs Derby live in the UKLive stream Aston Villa vs Derby from outside your countryIn the US? At Computex 2019, AMD is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and it has unveiled AMD Ryzen 3rd Generation processors and Navi graphics cards. AMD had its first ever Computex keynote, where it finally announced what we all knew was coming: AMD Ryzen 3rd Generation processors. These chips, based on a 7nm Zen 2 manufacturing process, bring higher core counts, faster clock speeds and more power efficiency. AMD Ryzen 3rd Generation will start with the AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, with 8 cores and 16-threads, featuring a 4.4GHz boost and 36MB cache, with just a 65W TDP. AMD took this Ryzen 7 3700X and pitted it against the Intel Core i7-9700K in Cinebench R20, where Team Red's chip scored 28% higher. AMD then unveiled the Ryzen 7 3800X, and put it up against the Core i9-9900K in PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds, where it performed almost identically. We didn't get pricing information, but we're sure the AMD chip will be cheaper than Intel's offering. Finally, AMD unveiled the Ryzen 9 3900X, with 12-cores and 24 threads and a boost clock of 4.6GHz for the first time in the mainstream market. This chip, when compared to the Intel Core i9-9920X in Blender was 18% faster for half the price. Plus, all of these chips, feature a 15% boost to IPC (Instructions per clock). These improved clock speeds and IPC boosts promise better performance not only for general computing, but might actually take Intel's throne when it comes to the best processors for gaming if AMD's benchmarks can be trusted. AMD Ryzen 3rd Generation processors will also be the first to support PCIe 4.0. All of these processors will be available on July 7. And, will set you back $329 for the AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, $399 for the Ryzen 7 3800X and $499 for the Ryzen 9 3900X. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/hd6FrmciqLCn77h7Zrsnxd.jpg AMD Navi is here, tooBut, AMD makes more than just processors, and there are new graphics cards, too. AMD finally revealed its Navi graphics cards, the Radeon RX 5000 family, headed up by the RX 5700 lineup, which will take on Nvidia Turing at the mid-range. The AMD RX 5700 lineup will launch in July, and while we didn't see any specific model, we do know that more information about Navi will be at E3 2019. We're sure we'll get more specific pricing and release date information at the gigantic gaming show. AMD Navi will go right up against the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070. AMD showed a Strange Brigade benchmark run, where not only did it beat the RTX 2070, but it was able to stay above 100 fps consistently. We already knew that AMD Navi would be powering the PlayStation 5, but if the PS5 can go up against an RTX 2070, it could bring native 4K gaming to the mainstream. This is because, thanks to its smaller 7nm RDNA architecture, AMD is able to offer faster clock speeds without increasing power consumption. This new RDNA architecture succeeds GCN, or Graphics Core Next, and will offer up to 1.5x more performance per watt. The GPU shown off by AMD CEO Lisa Su was extremely small, but it definitely looks like it packs some beefy performance – probably thanks to its new PCIe 4.0 compatibility, exclusive to AMD platforms. These GPUs follow the first 7nm gaming graphics card, the Radeon VII, and while it won't be quite as powerful (and probably not as expensive), AMD Navi and the AMD Radeon RX 5700 lineup, follows in the same footsteps. Still, keep in mind that these benchmarks and performance statements were controlled by AMD, but we will certainly put these GPUs to the test when they release in July. Check out all of TechRadar's Computex 2019 coverage. Update: While we had previously recommended the Huawei MateBook 13 and the Huawei MateBook X Pro in the top two places, the ongoing trouble the company faces with the US Government casts a great deal of uncertainty on the degree of support its products will receive into the future. As such, we recommend the excellent Dell XPS 13 in their stead. We can largely thank Apple and its MacBook Air for the Ultrabook trend we're seeing. Where large, clunky laptops aren't sleek enough, and thin, portable tablets aren't powerful enough, the Ultrabook shines. A unibody chassis packed with some of the best SSDs, processors and battery life available to devices this size, the Ultrabook is a thin and portable marvel that'll let you get on with your business, browsing or buffering without the lengthy wait times. With TechRadar's extensive reviewing and lab testing, we've got a strong idea of what's going to cut it in today's Ultrabook landscape, and on this page we've ranked the best of the best so that you can find yourself a bargain on the cream of the crop. Whether you're chasing the well-known brands like Dell, HP, Microsoft and Lenovo, or some surprise entrants like Huawei and Razer, we've got you covered. The best laptops in Australia: our picks of the top laptops on sale nowThe best 2-in-1 laptop in Australia: find the best convertible for your needsIf you want to know exactly what to consider before buying an Ultrabook, check out our video below: http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/8MHNXoKutLC9xVyJjNyTPb.jpg http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/ffcF8UYZWgfEKUzQEMJqhm.jpg Weighing in at a measly 1.21kg and measuring just 76mm thick, the Dell XPS 13 is the epitome of an Ultrabook, and it has the reputation and power to back up the 'Ultra' part too. You won’t find that it’s the most affordable Ultrabook, but it's one of the most well-balanced option in Australia right now, with a healthy portioning of power and portability. It wields the latest 8th-generation Intel Core i5 and i7 CPUs, obviously, but it also rocks three USB Type-C ports and the option of an Alpine White finish that we’re absolutely in love with. Read the full review: Dell XPS 13 Our pick for the pinnacle of laptops you can buy in Australia for 2019 would be the Huawei MateBook 13, were it not for the ongoing issues the company faces. Like the MateBook X Pro before it, the MateBook 13 packs some of the latest components and tech into a nifty lightweight package at an affordable price. It's this deft balance that would give it the slight edge over the reigning champ, the Dell XPS 13, if it weren't for the unknown future of support for the device. Read the full review: Huawei MateBook 13 http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/2YBAWTtRrjSFGkYBPCjxE8.jpg The Huawei MateBook X Pro's recent arrival had put it firmly in the top place of our Australian ultrabook list, but its been bested by its more affordable successor, and recent controversies cast doubt on the future of its support. This gorgeous laptop brings high-end components into an elegantly-designed package that puts even the MacBook Pro to shame – all this on a decent battery life to boot. And, with its 3K touchscreen, the Huawei MateBook X Pro has a display that’s just as nice to look at as the chassis. It’s really the best Ultrabook you can buy today. Read the full review: Huawei MateBook X Pro http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/MH98fFZMD82SqZ2nzkhrt.jpg There aren't many Ultrabooks as illustriously designed as the Lenovo Yoga 920: a 2-in-1 laptop that’s as dreamy to look at as it is to use. In contrast to its nearest competitors, such as Microsoft’s Surface Book 2, it doesn't weigh nearly as heavy on the wallet either. For the modest price you pay, you’re getting a gorgeous, all-metal finish that can be flipped inside out for extended functionality. It also houses the latest 8th-generation Intel processors, just in case speed was a concern. The latest MacBook Pro with Touch Bar is a sleek beast, offering some excellent and reliable performance with its quad-core CPU, and while you will be paying the kind of premium you'd expect from Apple, there are few Ultrabooks out there that get the balance of design and user experience quite as right as the MacBook Pro. HP has taken the already-beautiful Spectre, and spruced it up with gold trim and packed it with internal specs that blow the competition out of the water. One of the first Ultrabooks packing a quad-core CPU, the 2017 Spectre 13 more than doubles the CPU performance of most of its competitors. It comes at the cost of battery life, but clocking in at just under 6 hours – the battery is still passable. And, if you’re unconvinced, the latest edition of the Razer Blade Stealth may change your mind by turning into a 13.3-inch, QHD+ beauty. There’s no longer the option for 4K, but the performance this Ultrabook delivers is worth the compromise. It’s a 2-in-1 convertible laptop, which by default makes it not for everyone. Still, for those right-brained users out there, it comes bundled with a Windows Ink-compatible stylus, unlike the vast majority of hybrids. That would mean very little if the HP Spectre x360 didn’t have great sound and visuals, though it evidently does. The similarities are obvious, but one look at the specs and the differences stand out too. Adorned with the choice of a U-series Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, the ZenBook 3 is awfully powerful considering it’s less than half an inch thick and weighs two pounds. The port selection is sparse, but ultimately it’s well worth the sacrifice. Take the Asus ZenBook UX310, for example, the long awaited follow-up to the award-winning ZenBook UX305. Donning a 7th generation Intel Kaby Lake processor, a 178-degree rotating QHD+ screen, a USB-C port and an all-aluminium shell, this truly is a candidate for the MacBook Air’s throne. From the Italian imported Alcantara fabric material decorating the keyboard to its beautiful 13.5-inch, 3:2 PixelSense display, there’s no questioning the Surface Laptop’s appeal at face value – but dig even deeper and you’ll find a notebook that’s arguably more competent than Apple’s more expensive 12-inch MacBook. Sure, it doesn’t have the longest battery life, but with how much (or how little) this device will set you back, it’s a worthy trade off – especially considering the speedy SSD storage, quad-core processor and 8GB of RAM you’re getting at the entry level. For anyone on a budget, the Lenovo Yoga 730 is certainly one of the best Ultrabooks around right now.
