clan DIABOLIK Posted September 14, 2013 Share Posted September 14, 2013 Hello I very rarely play medic, but this afternoon I was medic and I was able to pick-up the PPSH on the floor !!! I am sure I've disabled it some months ago, 100%sure (it was like a cheat to be medic and to use this diabolik gun). But I can not remember how it was tuned, more than one CVAR were involved, and it's an headache to re-search it now ... Please, can someone remind me how to disable PPSH pick-up for medics ? I 'd like that everybody can pick-up any weapons on the floor, except these f*****g medics with PPSH. grrrrrrrr Do other admins encounter this behaviour ? Have fun @all with this great mod ! Zelly Posted September 14, 2013 Share Posted September 14, 2013 Well with g_mode 8 you basically accept that as a possibility just like a field op could spawn and go pickup a panzer or mortar and have near infinite ammoYou could maybe make a runtime lua to set the ammo of ppsh if your medic, but that would be really frustrating to be able to pick it up and then figure out you dont have any ammo. You could request a feature so that there would be possible restrictions to g_mode 8, for example PPSH for medics, but then what would be the reason of g_mode 8, which by definition enables everything for everyone?
