EDIT:Could it be that g_coverts flag 8 is set. Disguised coverts take only half damage. And because the disguised coverts do not give hitsounds, if the friendly fire is not enabled. If the friendly fire is not enabled, the hitsounds will not play if the enemy is disguised. Just like there isn't hitsounds from teammates. EDIT:If the question was unrelated to this topic, then g_hitsounds 1 will enable hitsounds.
