Is there a way of adding a list maps command to shrubbot without having to create a maplist.cfg every time the map cycle is changed ?

It looks like clanforge isnt setting your directories correctly, thats why it cant find your files or create them where the game wants to. Ther server.dat file should be in your serverid/silent directory and the other files should be in your database directory where ever it is set to be in, normally set g_dbDirectory "database" in the silent.cfg

It looks like its not looking in the right place for the creation / reading of the files.

they do have a couple of people who know something of ET but its getting the right people. If your on live chat with them and they cannot fix just ask for them to turn your chat into a ticket, its much easier.

are you around tomorrow ? I'll try creating a new silent profile in the morning if I get chance, test it to see if it works and then let you know how I got on, I'll have more of an idea how to help you then. One last question, have managed to get a plain ET server running via clanforge yet ?

Clanforge isnt like that, it does everything for you, is easy once you know what your doing, the multiplay staff try.

Hi jiz, You have to have the silent.cfg execute from your server.cfg, you upload it via clanforge in the configs tab of the profile your editing. Once that is done it should create all the default files and things it needs. I'm not sure what version they uploaded in clanforge as I have ftp access to my machine.

were are you executing your silent.cfg ?

Sorry, the settings had changed but they hadnt been taken on the server, it needed a reset to get it working as it should, please ignore the above post, sorry

To add to this. on our server we have "g_friendlyFireOpts" is:"9" default:"8" set by 8 + 1 = 9 1 Landmines ALWAYS damage teammates regardless of g_friendlyfire setting 8 Players do not trigger trip mines on their own team but the friendly fire is off for the mines, they kill all players and the trip mines kill enemies only. As a covert in a uniform I was still able to run over mines and through all trip mines without taking any damage. The trip mines I understand but not the normal mines. Does anyone else get this ?

yes that works we can see them again, now to get the themed ones working.

Sorry but ours is another one that does work without using set cg_themedBars 0 we have only three options in the themes menu so there is nothing to change the bars. Can we use the forcecvar for this ? although the themed bars would be better.

Yes, I've put ours at the very end. Our host are the opposite ? they've changed ours over but we cannot have two executables on the machine for the same game, so this means we have lost our NQ server as NQ doesn't support this executable we have been told of another one that we could use NQ with but that one doesn't support ETPro. So we've had to choose which we use, our hosts want this one.

We thought it was but it looks as if its stopped again, our hosts are looking in to it but we may not an answer back until next week now. PB looks to be running on the machine but we're getting nothing from like its not working, but there are no errors showing anywhere. confused ? we are

We have this working now not only our Silent sever but also our ETPro and ETPub servers but NoQuarter will not run with it and the NQ developers have no plans to support it
