  3. Yes, all logs are deleted. You right, I must disable all extra-pk3, skin and maps (maybe a recent map did it ?) No PB, just built-in silentAC.
  4. It happens at each map-change, but sometimes 3s sometimes 60s, as if server was down, but just in timeout
  5. Hello, These timeouts make "Connection interrupted" at players screen, and at server side, server is in timeout. Sometimes 3seconds, sometimes 60s !!! Here is what shows ie HLSW: http://wolfensmart.free.fr/divers/lag1.JPG Of course I've opened a ticket at my VPS provider, and they can not see any problem at host side. So he thinks it's from bad configuration of my server, but my settings are the same since 2 months and problem is here since 2 weeks !!! In server.log, no strange message ... I've made !dboptimize operation => server.log say it is OK (and also !dbcleanup OK) ... When I make a "top" on server, no extra process is eating CPU ... Concerning RAM (512M) is the same since many months and never had lags ... We need an engineer !!!

  11. Hello silEnT team. I suppose that when we download the 0.8.1 package, we have got the GeoIP "up-to-date" inside. But because I see sometimes players from ??? country, I wanted to download myself the GeoIP.dat on the official web-site. But we need to register in their web-site to do it, or we can DL a "light" version without subscribing ( if I did well understand, and you know it is often my problem ^^ ) Well, I propose you, if it was possible (with the copyright-laws etc ..). to put in directcly in the Download section site of mygamingtalk http://mygamingtalk.com/forums/files/ , and OFC regulary updated. Hello Maybe a dream, maybe not, please listen to me : 1/ Imagine a free Android App for smartphone/tablets, called ETSpec, who can view the etmasterlist (maybe filtered on silEnT, to avoid downloading the 0.8.1 pk3), and connect to a server. Not a playable version ( I know there's a playable App for RTCW, but I talk about a Spectator engine, FPS'games are unplayable on smartphone, you delete it after trying one hour ), just like when you choose Spectator in limbo-menu of our ET. 2/ Imagine now the surprise for the customers: "Oh what's this game ? Look, we can watch them in direct-live ? WTF these amazing-jumps ! Hey look, I can follow this very good player ! Men, this guy is really noob lol ! This game is playable and multi-players for free ??? " ==> for sure a part of them will install the real game on their computer (PC/Mac/linux) if a "good" link is furnished (maybe Harlekin all-in-one package?) in the App review ==> thousands of new ETPlayers are going to join us !!! 3/ And of course, ET fanatics like you and me will be able to watch their favorite server anywhere at anytime, but it is not the main goal. Hello Petbark Yes, restarting the server has solved the issue I run g_gametype 6 (voting mode) and normally,it is impossible to vote for a campaign (because I use the zzremove_stock_campaigns.pk3) But maybe an admin with referee password has done it, I need to test that, thanks for the idea/info man ! Thanks Zelly, after a restart server this morning, all is right! Problem solved :the cvar nextmap is well "vstr d2" (if I am on the 1st map). But it was really strange problem ! Maybe a bug or else ??? V55 and long life to ET !

I've noticed this morning a strange behavior : : --> when a map is ended, if nobody choose a map, the same map is restarted. --> even if vote nextmap is done, the same is played My friend who is Unix admin of little VPS-box we pay together, has just changed the silent.cfg about an XPsave setting (He made a "diff" with a recent backup, and only this CVAR has changed). What could be wrong ?? Here is the mapvotecycle.cfg who is executed at the end of silent.cfg : And as said before, the only file with its date has changed, is the silent.cfg, with the XPsave setting. Hello, I think it is OK : thanks God the Medics don't have PPSH in gun-list But according to me, the big problem of PPSH is that Medics are able to pick it up on the floor http://mygamingtalk.com/forums/topic/2784-ppsh-and-medics/?do=findComment&comment=11967 , it that case : impossible to be equal !   22. OK Guys I fixed it ! I had g_friendlyFireOpts 46 and tryed to lower the 2 flag and it works so with 44 xD Maybe just Documentation is not clear about it : this 'grenade boosting' is what I called the 'pushing-effect' (but for all weapons ?) Thanks all V55
