Your web host has a major influence on SEO. Speed, or how quickly your website loads is the most important factor. When a user arrives at your website it needs to respond quickly – it feels more natural and it’s what we all expect these days, no one likes waiting for anything anymore! There are several factors at play here, so let’s look at the key factors that can up your site’s SEO… How to choose a web hosting service?Take a look at our web-hosting tips eBookWhat are the different types of web hosting?BandwidthThe bandwidth available to your website to broadcast and the capacity available to you when viewing - only the former is relevant here as the search engine crawlers generally run from the fastest networks around they still ‘see’ your site very quickly if the sites available bandwidth is good enough. But, if you have built your website with a mass of inappropriately large images and videos this will also slow the site down and impede user (and search crawler) experience, thus impacting negatively on the site. The sweet spot therefore is a fast host with plenty of bandwidth and a well optimised website in terms of all the content therein. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/oHUK7vsufHFapkDjJyHXsX.jpeg UptimeUptime is the amount of time your website is active for people to view and visit it. Poor uptime creates an adverse experience for your users and thus reduces the ‘value’ of the site in the search algorithms matrix. Furthermore, if your website were down at the time the search engines were crawling your website this can be extremely bad. So, hosts with poor uptime performance should be avoided at all costs. There are a number of ways you can find out how good your potential host is from online data sources and third-party monitoring. CostIt is likely (but not a rule) that the lower the price of the hosting you are using the worse it will be. Why? The lower the cost the less bandwidth you will be allocated, and more likely the lower quality hardware you will be placed on. Hardware with many processor cores, solid state hard drives and 10GB networking will outperform single processor, spinning disk, 1GB network systems by orders of magnitude on a number of different levels. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/bXy3nBdbNkadCFnRDiEgT4.jpg NetworkThe network your website is being broadcast from can be a huge factor in either improving all the previous points or even undermining the good ones! If you have a fast server which has great uptime, but the network is in the outer reaches of the Antarctic with very few routes to anywhere else, the impact will again be speed performance. Finding the best web hostTo find the best web host possible for your site you should look for a host with the following combination: 1. A very fast network located on or near major points of presence (in the UK these include London and Manchester), and with the ISP having negotiated priority routing (known as Tier 1 routing). 2. Excellent hardware based on multi-core and even multi-machine hardware with RAID (5,6 or 10) arrays, based on solid state hard drives, and redundancy capability to mitigate hardware failure and downtime. Note: wherever possible make sure you grab a backup of your website and associated data regularly (but do bear in mind the new GDPR rules). 3. CDN (Content Delivery Networks) and distribution of load points for common libraries such as JQuery can also dramatically improve load time performance, reduce bandwidth requirements from your main host and thus improve user experience and load times. CDNs are a way of co-locating your image and video (generally) content such that it takes the load of your main host. Your website html and operational code remains on your hosting server along with Database (another massive area of consideration – more on this, below), and consequently transactional information. The images and videos are placed on a distributed network of hosting usually designed to deliver more ‘locally’ to the user. So, my website may be hosted in the UK but the images and videos can be loaded more locally for users in Australia and the US for example, as such massively improving latency and the feel of the website for those users. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/Sh4SNG5GwNT5QCvHVs9ABk.jpg DatabasesA word on databases; Most functional websites use databases, let’s face it, if you just have a static site with minimal to no updates it doesn’t matter how fast your website is it’s unlikely to rank well. So, assuming you have a database, everything we have discussed so far becomes doubled up. The same rules apply – a very fast web host with poor database service will impede the performance of your website. The size and scale of your database needs to be considered here. Most larger scale sites need separate and dedicated hardware for their databases, keeping the site and database on the same hosting server both increases risk, and in many cases reduces overall performance. It goes without saying at this point that a well-designed website with a good codebase and well-engineered database architecture are also key factors. Improving SEO performanceTo summarise, fast hosting, well linked by the underlying IPs (Internet Protocol addresses), especially with a number of high performing sites, boost each other’s potential. Whereas bulk, (cheap) relatively slow hosting by an ISP with masses of low-quality sites will potentially adversely affect the SEO performance of your website. Now we’ve covered web hosting, for some more general tips on boosting SEO, try the following: UX is key, is your site giving users a great experience? Are there call to actions? Is it easy to navigate? Users want to get their information and answers quickly and easily, so if your site is hard to use, they will go elsewhere.Post regular, engaging content that relates to you and your business. Update your content regularly, don’t expect users to come to you if your content isn’t fresh and is more than six months old.Use social media platforms to post links back to your site.Use H tags for headings, generally use HTML5 well.Optimise your alt tags on images. They must be relevant. Don’t have “getty10485795.png” for example – it means nothing to anyone.Optimise your on page meta Add OG images making your pages sharable with supporting images. While keywords are a bit out-dated now, it doesn’t hurt to add them and be sure to enrich your copy with them. However, the key words and phrases in your articles should match the page title and images as well as possible.Use SEO tools to monitor and gain an understanding of how your site’s SEO is performing, then adapt where there is room for improvement. Optimise image size. The bigger the image, the longer the load time. They need to be good quality but not too large, in terms of file size. Some of our worst assumptions about smart speakers, digital assistants and internet phone services are coming true, as Microsoft has admitted that both Microsoft employees and contractors may listen to your Skype calls and voice interactions with its Cortana digital assistant. The confirmation comes a week after Vice's Motherboard discovered that Microsoft has hired contractors to listen to the calls and voice interactions of Skype and Cortana users, respectively. The details gathered, according to Motherboard, include "sensitive and personal conversations of Microsoft customers." These are the best laptops to dateHow to use CortanaWhich is the best smart speaker?"We realized, based on questions raised recently, that we could do a better job specifying that humans sometimes review this content," a Microsoft spokesperson told Motherboard. Prior to this change, Microsoft's privacy policies did not make this distinction clear. Now, the policies states that this practice is in place to improve its services. "Our processing of personal data for these purposes includes both automated and manual (human) methods of processing," the policy now reads specifically. The odd one outDon't think that Microsoft is unique in this practice. At one time, Apple, Google and Facebook used human labor to monitor and improve their digital assistant products. However, all three of those companies have since dropped these practices. Not so with Microsoft, as the company seems to be standing its ground on using human employees or contractors to improve its services. "We’ve updated our privacy statement and product FAQs to add greater clarity and will continue to examine further steps we might be able to take," the spokesperson added for Motherboard. Whether Microsoft will buckle under the peer pressure put on by its biggest rivals in the online services space is unknown. In the meantime, Microsoft does offer a tool to delete audio recordings stored of your voice on its servers. In the meantime, here's how to disable Cortana entirelyhttp://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/techradar/digital-home/~4/YjyODcVcRZU

Cybersecurity is one of the fastest growing industries in the world. We already know that businesses, organisations, and government entities must follow certain guidelines in order to protect sensitive information. However, the education sector equally possesses important assets of data to protect. According to the report sponsored by VMware, cyber-attacks on UK universities presents an increasing risk to national security. This clearly indicates that the education sector must begin addressing any risks posed from cyber-hacks with immediate action for overall security. How is the education sector under threat?Over the recent years, the education sector has become more susceptible to cyber hacks due to the following motives: Financial gain – A motive for hackers carrying out an attack on an education institution is often for financial gain. With Universities & Colleges handling a large number of student fees, they’re a prime target for cybercriminals;Data theft – All institutions hold student and staff data, including sensitive details like names and addresses. This type of information can be valuable to cyber criminals who could potentially exploit the information to a third party.Find the best free anti-malware softwareWhy are cyber hacks becoming so common within the education sector? As seen above, schools have become vulnerable to hacks due to sensitive data and financial gains. However, the attacks have now become so common and often successful to the detriment of the industry; let’s look at a few key reasons: A lack of resources– potentially the lack of budget to invest in cybersecurity, be it security software or staff;Cultural issues – a ‘Bring Your Own Device’ culture is common in educational institutions and can present difficulties in securing the wider network, particularly with IT staff already facing stretched resources, without a suitable MDM solution; An absence of policy – setting out policies for using the network and making sure they’re adhered to can be difficult in large institutions with a dynamic user population.Find the best malware removal toolsHow can the education sector take measures towards cybersecurity? As mentioned, the cyber security related risks from technological devices remains a primary concern for the education sector. Therefore, we have devised a few top tips recommended to follow so that data remains secure and safe across the system: Password protection on laptops and other devices. People forget to secure their password safely and securely, loosely sharing information amongst peers and other staff members. Therefore, one of the first basic yet most effective cybersecurity practices is to secure and protect passwords. The best practices to secure passwords includes using a mix of characters, not re-using university provided passwords, changing annually, and never sharing your password. Provide school network security training for staff and students. Most data breaches are the result of human error. A strong school network security regimen holds no great significance if students and staff don’t understand how to mitigate risk. Therefore, introduce cybersecurity training for all staff and students who regularly make use of technology on school grounds. Such training may include: How to identify safe and unsafe sitesSpotting phishing attempts or other scamsUsing antiviruses, malware or another frontline defenceFind the best in free firewallsBy investing time and expenses in the actual training the mitigation strategy in place will be twice as more effective; if a risk does develop it will be more likely to receive an early detection and do-little damage once addressed. Place clear policies and more importantly ensure everyone follows itThe more you know where your vulnerabilities are, the better prepared you can be to prevent against them. If you already have cybersecurity policies in place, a formal audit can help you validate whether your university is enforcing the policies that were set. Audits are typically performed by third-parties. If you don’t have clear cybersecurity policies in place, an assessment of your technology infrastructure, organisational policies, and user-training can give you the full picture of where your biggest risks lie. Find the best antivirusImportance of Cybersecurity within EducationIt is apparent that today no sector is immune from the threat of a cyberattack and this sadly includes schools and universities. The voluminous data these institutions hold as well as the increasing number of connected devices makes this sector a vulnerable domain for cyber-hacking. Given the complexity of networks today, and of the threats to their security, traditional anti-virus solutions are also no longer enough. Therefore, manually following the above best practices ensures you are covered as a vicinity from all areas. Cyber security is no longer considered just an IT issue but is holistically approached throughout the organisation and hence should be treated as a collaborative effort to mitigate. UFC returns to California this weekend with its next big PPV and the heavyweight title will be on the line in UFC 241’s main event rematch. Current heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier will defend his title against the opponent he won it from in the first place back in July of 2018, Stipe Miocic. Sound good? Then keep reading to discover the best ways to get a UFC 241 live stream - no matter where you are in the world. Stipe Miocic defended his title three times before losing to Cormier by knockout in the first round at UFC 226 in July last year. Cormier, who already held the title of light heavyweight champion at the time, became the new heavyweight champion and only one of four fighters to hold two UFC championships simultaneously. While Cormier fought three times last year, Miocic has not fought a match since his defeat but he has been hoping for a rematch. At UFC 241 this Saturday, Miocic will get his chance and we’ll see whether he or Cormier is the better fighter. Elsewhere on the card, Nate Diaz will return to the Octagon for the first time since losing to Conor McGregor in August 2016 and the former lightweight title challenger will take on Anthony Pettis in a welterweight match. We’re expecting Apple to launch three new iPhone handsets this September, but what they’ll be called remains uncertain. However, a new leak puts forward some possible names, with the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max all mentioned. Those names come from an Excel spreadsheet created by ESR (a case-maker) and obtained by iPhoneSoft. We would however take them with a huge side of salt, as while case-makers sometimes have advance information on handsets, they’re just as often guessing. Plus, iPhone 11 Pro Max seems a rather clunky name. We have however heard both iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Max (but not Pro Max) rumored before, so there could be some truth to this. It’s interesting to note too that if this is accurate then there won’t be an iPhone 11R, rather the standard iPhone 11 will be the most basic new handset. The Google Pixel 4 is also on the wayWill we get a OnePlus 7T?The iPhone 11 is unlikely to be a 5G phonehttp://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/pmSnqfgC9sWV2pQSFe8Ro4.jpg As well as the names, this spreadsheet says that the iPhone 11 is 6.1 inches, the iPhone 11 Pro is 5.8 inches, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max is 6.5 inches. That’s the same assortment of sizes as the iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max offer. That’s also in line with most current leaks, with the only significant design change expected to be the shape of the rear camera block. Again though, we’d take this with a pinch of salt for now. Everything should become clear soon though as Apple is likely to unveil the new iPhone range in mid-September. TechRadar will be reporting live from the event and bringing you all the news and rumors in the meantime, so stay tuned for updates. Good news, retro gamers: the Nintendo Switch looks to be getting a wireless SNES controller accessory, which would mean SNES games should soon be on their way to hit console. An eagle-eyed poster – on forum site Resetera – found documentation for the SNES controller in an FCC filing, with a "HAC" model number that fits with the listing information used for the console and Switch accessories. The majority of images in the filing are inaccessible until early February, 2020 – a likely launch date – though you can see an image of the back of the controller at the top of this article. Given you can already buy NES controllers for the Switch, with NES games available to play through Nintendo Switch Online – it seems pretty certain that Nintendo is just biding its time until it starts flooding the Switch console with SNES games to play too. See what else you get with Nintendo Switch OnlineWhat to expect from the Switch LiteIs a Nintendo Switch Pro really happening?A right ol' SNESSo, what's all this fuss about the SNES? The iconic Nintendo console – the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, to be exact – launched in the early 90s, as a successor to the NES. Upgrading the NES's 8-bit hardware, the new 16-bit console could cram in far more information for more vivid and ambitious gaming experiences. It might pale in comparison to the average open-world game today, but hey – there are some real classics on this console, like Super Metroid, Star Fox, and Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Nintendo has released a number of mini consoles – the NES Classic Edition and SNES Classic Mini – for playing retro NES and SNES games on dedicated hardware, which sold out startlingly quickly. Subscribers to the Nintendo Switch Online service can also play a select number of NES titles via emulation on the Nintendo Switch, and fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of SNES games – if not GameCube and N64 titles too. We were hoping to see this happen before early 2020, but it's good to know when to expect it. So here they are - the best Android phones money can buy today. The Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus is the best Android phone you can buy right now, packing the best of what Samsung has to offer. It's a big phone that's designed for big hands - and it takes the very best of what's on the smartphone market and puts it together in a compelling package that we've loved testing. The Super AMOLED 6.4-inch display has been measured as the very best around, with super colours, plus there's a fingerprint scanner embedded in the display. Battery life is an improvement over the S9 Plus, thanks to the larger 4,100mAh battery inside and you also get Samsung's new Wireless PowerShare, allowing you to wirelessly charge other devices on the rear of the handset. The trio of cameras on the rear of the Galaxy S10 Plus are among the best on the market, offering more features, shooting modes and overall clarity. Its 5x and 10x zoom capabilities are staggeringly good. It also performs fantastically well in low light. For those who really want to get up close to their subject, the P30 Pro also offers a 50x digital zoom, and although quality is reduced it's still impressive. You also get plenty of power under the hood, an in-display fingerprint scanner, premium design and wireless charging with the ability to wireless charge other devices from the back of the P30 Pro. It's a top, top Android phone and only narrowly misses out on top spot due to the Galaxy S10 Plus' overall slicker and more rounded smartphone experience. The bigger S10 Plus is by far Samsung's best phone, but the standard S10 backs almost all the same top-end features into a more compact form factor and slightly lower price tag (but still steep). The Samsung Galaxy S10 gets proper under-the-hood upgrades. You’ll like all of these powerful features, while your friends will like the new Wireless PowerShare perk – it helps them out more than you. The Mate 20 Pro packs a huge 6.39-inch display giving you a lots of space for gaming and movies, and its QHD resolution and HDR10 support ensures everything looks great. It also comes with three rear cameras, nabbing the excellent 40MP wide-angle and 8MP telephoto lenses from the P20 Pro - but the third sensor is new. It's an ultra-wide 16MP snapper allowing you to cram even more of your surroundings into each shot. The Mate 20 Pro is a full-featured phone for a full-featured price - it even has a few tricks you won’t see elsewhere, and more powerful specs than most of its competitors. The Galaxy Note 9 boasts a huge screen and a huge amount of power under the hood, plus there's the iconic S Pen stylus which slides into the body of the phone for safe keeping. It means the Note 9 offers a huge array of productivity functions few phones can compete with, but the overall package isn't quite as finessed as the Galaxy S10 Plus - not to mention its high price tag. For power users who want a phone that will doing pretty much anything they ask of it, the Galaxy Note 9 is a top choice. Read the full review: Samsung Galaxy Note 9 What's next? Samsung has just announced the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus. When we've tried these properly for our full review, they're likely to feature in this list. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/zTYybmqQWnbejFfhrUWEcJ.jpg Image Credit: TechRadar What's this? Another Huawei phone in the top ten? Your eyes do not deceive you, the Huawei P30 really is sixth in our best Android phone rundown. It has a smaller screen than the P30 Pro, and makes do with just the three rear cameras (rather than four) and a maximum zoom of 30x, but it's still a great Android phone. There's heaps of power, a handy headphone jack (something the Pro can't boast) and a more manageable form factor for one-handed use. And of course, it's a little cheaper too. Read our full Huawei P30 review http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/C3qkRUt84pRr3nUJVWsaUW.jpg Image Credit: TechRadar For the first time OnePlus released two top-end phones at the same time, and the OnePlus 7 Pro is the far more exciting device. Rather than sporting a notch, OnePlus has managed to supply an all-screen front with the help of a pop-up selfie camera that only appears when you switch the shooter on. It's hard to demonstrate here, but the 90Hz screen refresh rate is better than most other phones on this list. It allows for a more fluid viewing experience in video as well as when you're scrolling through your social media feeds. The price isn't as low as it was for the first few devices from OnePlus, but this is one of the best Android phones that money can buy right now with an attractive design and top-end spec. The single rear snapper on the Google Pixel 3 XL (and the smaller Pixel 3) is the best we've come across. You also get a big screen, decent battery life and plenty of power under the hood, making the Google Pixel 3 XL a great all-round flagship smartphone. The Google Pixel 3 XL marries the best camera phone we’ve ever tested with a sizable OLED screen. It’s the right fit for people who don’t mind the notch cut out at the top and have already adjusted their grip for bigger smartphones in the past. Read more: Google Pixel 3 XL review http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/Nmoz5z8BVL83GaZq5LZe3U.jpg Image Credit: TechRadar Like the look of the new S10 and S10 Plus, but not a fan of their lofty price tags? Well fear not, as Samsung has catered for you with the Galaxy S10e. The Galaxy S10e has many of the flagship features of its pricier siblings, while offering a more palm-friendly size and a few compromises to help keep the cost down. It’s hard not to recommend the S10e to anyone who prefers a smaller phone. Size queens, look elsewhere - this smartphone is for folks who want to text and browse apps one-handed without compromising performance. Read our in-depth Samsung Galaxy S10e review The Honor View 20 is the best phone to come out of the Chinese brand, with a striking rear design (which may divide opinion), plenty of power under the hood, an impressive 48MP camera and a 'punch-hole' display which ushers in the post-notch revolution. There's a huge 6.4-inch display on the View 20, giving you plenty of space to play with. It's the location of the front-facing, 25MP camera within the screen which is the real talking point though, as rather than appearing in a bezel or a notch which juts into the screen, it's surround by screen. The Honor View 20 has a big 4,000mAh and the result is a battery which will comfortably last through an entire day and into the next on a single charge. It's also the world's first smartphone to boast a 48MP rear camera, as the firm has used Sony's new sensor to provide a camera which really packs a punch. An ultra-high-resolution camera and punch hole screen are the highlights on the Honor View 20, and they set a standard this year’s more expensive phones will need to match. Borderlands 3 is a pretty big deal, so it's no surprise Gearbox managed to get a famous face (or voice) on board. That's right, the rumors were true, rapper Ice-T is in Borderlands 3. But what badass role is the legend taking on? Perhaps a gun-toting psycho? Or a wise-cracking vault hunter? Nope, Ice-T lends his voice to a fluffy pink teddy bear called Balex (his parents couldn't decide between Barry and Alex) who is having some trouble with an ex girlfriend. Well, we say he's a teddy bear. He's actually an AI that's been uploaded into a teddy bear by the aforementioned scorned ex. What's next for Sony TVs? We're now well into the year's schedule of releases, and with IFA 2019 around the corner, we're likely to soon start hearing some new announcements for each Sony TV coming the following year. But not everything on the 2019 roster has hit shelves, and there's plenty in the Sony TV 2019 range worth paying attention to, with a refresh of LCD and OLED TVs that we've detailed for you below in one handy guide. The headline Sony TV is the new massive 8K Master Series Z9G / ZG9 model, in 85- and 98-inch options, and which we awarded five stars (see why in the link above). But for anyone (or everyone) who can't fit that into their homes, there are plenty of new Sony 4K TVs, including additions to the Sony Bravia and Master Series OLED series as well as more mid-range options. We'll also be seeing an upgrade to last year's entry-level Full HD HDR TV, the WF66, for more modest budgets. If you want to compare some of the biggest TV makers out there, you can check out our Sony vs Samsung TV guide – or our recent Sony XG95 review for a mid-range LED Sony TV. Otherwise read on for all the Sony TVs we expect to see in 2019 – all kept in one place so you can know your Bravia from your elbow. We'll update this list too going forward, so do check back to see what else has been announced in a few weeks' time. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/BZ8K7TGBBewG8PF36qrMg3.jpg Sony 2019 TV technology It's not always about the panel quality when it comes to buying a new TV. But the processor telling the TV what to do is equally – if not more – important. Sony's next-generation X1 Ultimate processor was first unveiled at CES 2018, and will be powering both high-end Master Series sets and top-range 4K sets we're seeing come out this year. (The 8K set certainly needs it to make regular HD or 4K content look good on all those 33 million pixels.) The A9G / AG9 OLED is still carrying its predecessor's X1 Ultimate – though the organic OLED display should mean rich visuals regardless. One step down, the X1 Extreme is now finally entrenched among Sony's mid-range sets, bringing sharper 4K to the X9500G / XG95 and hopefully more besides. On the audio front, Sony is learning from the Acoustic Surface Audio+ technology it showed off in last year's OLED, with strategically placed drivers across the chassis of the set to deliver more powerful yet compact sound – amid growing demand for in-built audio that doesn't need an external hi-fi system to do it justice. The more high-end models will 2019 will also use Sony's 'Sound-from-Picture' technology to accurately emit audio from where its source is located onscreen – meaning you when someone speaks, it actually comes from their mouth. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/BXxdS8UiPptFUPQDycFCu8.jpg Acoustic Surface Audio+ gives precise location-based audio right out of the screen Sony doesn't particularly like to release specs on the brightness of its TVs, but as usual we expect the OLED offering to lag behind on this front: the organic LED film used in the panel is self-emitting, so doesn't have the benefit of a big backlight to really crank up the lumens. The Z9G, however, is bringing back the popular Backlight Master Drive technology that defined Sony's Z Series sets back in 2016 – allowing for hugely precise use of white LEDs, to use brightness where it's needed, with sharpened contrast and minimal bleeding into surrounding dimming zones. It makes for a thicker and heavier set, but if you're buying an 85 or 98-inch set, space probably isn't a problem. All of Sony's 4K sets share the Android smart TV platform and YouView. That means Google technically owns the smart platform, and this has led to some unsavory ad-pushing being trialled on Sony TVs, but we're hoping this either remains a small annoyance or doesn't last past the trial. While Dolby Vision was limited to the X900F and Master Series sets last year, this is thankfully trickling down, and will come to all four 4K sets listed below so far – and it seems Sony will be pursuing Dolby's video format over the rival HDR10+ format. Google Assistant meanwhile has been rolling out to all of Sony's 4K HDR TVs in the UK and Europe (albeit a year after the US) allowing hands-free voice control. Here's why Sony isn't following its rivals to HDR10+Sony Master Series 2019 Models http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/zfGD2QmxZbXxAvjZHnidg3.jpg Sony Z9G 8K (available in 85, 98 inches): An 8K wonder powered by Sony's X1 Ultimate processor, with a resurrected Backlight Master Drive from Sony's 2016 Z Series TVs promising enhanced contrast and precision controlled brightness – as well as a dedicated viewing mode for watching Netflix. Intrigued? The 85-inch model will retail at £13,999 (around $17,675), while a monstrously large 98-inch model will jump you up to £84,999 (around $107,330). With an OLED panel, you'll also be getting some vivid color contrast and deep blacks, even if high-end LED tech is starting to give it a run for its money. Speaking of money, the 55-inch model will start at $2,799 / £2,999 (around AU$3,970). Available May 2019, with the 77-inch landing in June. Check out our hands on Sony A9G OLED review. In a snazzy design choice, you can also adjust the height of the TV stand to make room for a soundbar. Starting at $2,500 / £2,299 (around AU$3,570) for the 55-inch model, and $3,500 / £3,199 (around AU$4,999) for the 65-inch. This model still packs in the Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support of its more expensive siblings, and the more advanced X1 Ultimate processor for enhanced upscaling and image processing. You get the welcome choice of four distinct size options, including a massive 85-inch display. Starting at $1,399 / £1,899 (around AU$1,972) for the 55-inch model – though given our Sony X9500G review, you may want to hold off. Currently only announced for UK. UK models: KD-49XG9005 Sony X8500G 4K HDR TV (available in 55, 65, 75, 85 inches): A step down again, the X8500G / XG85 goes back to a simpler X1 processor (no Extreme or Ultimate upgrade) and more basic backlighting and dimming zones. Last year's model came with edge LED lighting, which simply couldn't meet the demands of today's HDR pictures – but we'll reserve our judgement on this one until it's come in to review. Starting at $1,099 / £1,399 (around AU$1,549). US models: XBR-55X850G, XBR-65X850G, XBR-75X850G, XBR-85X850G (available now) UK models: KD-55XG8505, KD-65XG8505, KD-75XG8505, KD-85XG8505 (available now) http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/7yJRXgg8qWxSZkEiEGep7S.jpg Sony X7000G / XG70 Sony XG83 4K HDR TV (available in 43, 49 inches): Like last year’s model, the XG83 only offers the most basic X1 Processor and 4K X-Reality Pro Upscaler. You'll still get 4K HDR pictures. but they probably won't look nearly as good as they will on the X9000F and above. That said, you can display HDR10 and Hybrid Log Gamma - and the XG83 sports a stylish aluminium body. Currently only announced for UK, starting at £999. UK models: KD-43XG8305, KD-43XG8305 (available now) Sony XG81 4K HDR TV (available in 43, 49, 55, 65 inches): Down to the X-Reality processor, meaning you won’t get as advanced picture processing as above, but you do get a far wider range of model sizes with the XG81 - with only a ‘brushed aluminium look’ though. Currently only announced for UK. UK models: KD-43XG8196, KD-49XG8196, KD-55XG8196, KD-65XG8196 (available now) Sony XG80 4K HDR TV (available in 43, 49, 55, 65, 75 inches): Comparable to the XG81, but more basic dimming zones, and a 75-inch model to make up for it. Announced for UK / US. US models: XBR-43X800G, XBR-49X800G, XBR-55X800G, XBR-65X800G, XBR-75X800G (available now) UK models: KD-43XG8096, KD-49XG8096, KD-55XG8096, KD-65XG8096, KD-75XG8096 (no release date) Sony XG70 4K HDR TV (available in 43, 49, 55, 65 inches): This UK-exclusive set is the runt of the HDR litter: a 4K-resolution display with HDR10 and not much else. Misfit has announced its latest smartwatch in the form of the Misfit Vapor X, the newest device in the Vapor line after the Vapor 2, and it's arguably Misfit's most premium wearable to date. The reason we say that is because it runs on the Snapdragon Wear 3100 chipset, making it one of only a handful of smartwatches to benefit from the enhancements the new processor bring. The main benefit of Wear 3100 is greatly reduced power consumption, so your device should last longer on each charge, but it also brings more accurate fitness tracking and advanced ambient modes. In short, it should be good news for the Misfit Vapor X. Check out our thoughts on the original Misfit VaporThis is what we thought of the Misfit Vapor 2These are the best smartwatchesAnother change the Vapor X has is in design, as it's metal instead of plastic like on previous Vapor wearables. Here, there's an aluminium alloy case, which at 12mm is thicker than the Vapor 2, although coupled with its new Sport Strap+, Misfit claims the Vapor X is its "most comfortable smartwatch ever". The Vapor X comes in just one size, at 42mm (the Vapor 2 came in 41mm and 46mm), and at 1.19 inches the AMOLED screen is just smaller than the 1.2 and 1.4 inches of the Vapor 2. The Misfit Vapor X runs Google's Wear OS operating system, as previous Vapor watches have, and it comes with many of the same features too, like fitness and heart rate tracking, water resistance and swim tracking, rapid charging, plus 4GB of storage and 512GB RAM. There's NFC too, allowing for contactless payments with the watch. In fact, in terms of functions it's pretty much identical to the Vapor 2. The main changes you're getting here are the metal design and the new chipset, which should keep the battery going for longer. You can pick up the Misfit Vapor X from Misfit's website immediately, where it'll cost you $279 (roughly £230, AU$410) – but if you pick it up quickly, Misfit is offering it for an introductory price of $199.99 (about £165, AU$295), which is a significant saving. We haven't tested out this watch yet, but when we do we'll let you know our full thoughts on it, so stay tuned to TechRadar to find out how good the Misfit Vapor X is. It looks like Motorola is set to release another high-end smartphone – well, high-end in Moto terms, so still a mid-ranger – as details have leaked about the Motorola One Zoom, a device we'd heard scant information about up until now. This information comes courtesy of tech leaker Roland Quandt, who has a fairly solid track record with phones scoops – it's not clear where he got the information though, and while many are attributing it to a leak from Amazon itself, Quandt's tweet doesn't suggest this. These are the best Motorola phonesWhat did we think about the Motorola One Vision? The Honor 20 is currently the cheapest quad-camera phoneThe confusion may lie with the fact that the Motorola One Zoom seems exclusive to Amazon, like the Moto G7 was. The phone is said to come with Alexa integration, so it would work with Amazon's AI assistant like the Echo home speakers, and this means it probably won't be running on Android One, the pared-down Android operating system that previous Motorola One phones ran, as Android One lacks much in the way of extra features and bloat. In terms of specs, the One Zoom apparently uses the mid-range Snapdragon 675 chipset, with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The reason we say the phone is premium, at least by Motorola standards, is that according to the leak (and images alongside the leak) the One Zoom is set to have a whopping four rear cameras. The main sensor is said to be 48MP with optical image stabilization (OIS), but there's no information on the other cameras yet. It's probable that one of these is an ultra-wide angle lens, and another is a telephoto for zoomed-in shots, as these seem standard on most phones with at least three cameras. Plus, the 'Zoom' in the name suggests a telephoto lens. It doesn't seem like the four cameras have identical specs, like the Nokia 9 PureView, as in the images we can see the sensors are different sizes. The bottom-left sensor, which is rather small, could be a depth sensor or macro lens, which are typically used to add appropriate background blur to portrait shots, or take high-quality close-up pictures. According to Quandt, you'll be paying €399 (about $445, £370, AU$660), which is rather high for a Motorola device, but affordable in the grand scheme of things – and just about the lowest price we've seen for a quad-camera smartphone yet. For now we don't know that much about the Motorola One Zoom, and what we do know is leaked information (which doesn't always turn out to be true, even from the most established leakers). When there is more to know, though, you'll hear it first from TechRadar. Is this the Moto G8?http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/techradar/digital-home/~4/-kxbd1qBy4U

If you regularly use wireless headphones to soundtrack your journey to work, you'll know how frustrating it is when your battery drains down mid-commute; enter the Cleer Audio Enduro 100 wireless headphones. These over-ear headphones promise a staggering 100 hours of battery life – that's over four days of continuous music playback, meaning you can ditch those tatty wired earbuds you keep in your bag for emergencies. The best wireless headphones we've reviewed in 2019Our pick of the best over-ear headphones you can buyWe're expecting to see lots of new headphones at IFA 2019You'd be forgiven for thinking that huge capacity means the Cleer Audio Enduro 100 wireless headphones will take ages to charge; however, Cleer Audio says that the over-ear cans only require "five minutes of charging time to hold an hour of playback". Patented audio techThese wireless headphones should sound pretty good too, using Cleer's patented 40mm Ironless drivers, which apparently provide "low distortion and high resolution no matter the volume level" you're listening at. Cleer's Ironless technology uses a set of stacked magnets to achieve an "even and symmetrical confinement of the magnetic flux within the driver." The company claims that, unlike the usual arrangement of "soft iron parts and a single magnet," its drivers ensure that the the transducer motor is "free from distortions, creating a balanced and dynamic sound". (If you're not familiar already, the transducer is the part of the driver that converts electronic signals from your device into the vibration of the speaker cone and diaphragm.) http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/RvYEL3YFVwCpWorRpqkMbV.jpg The Enduro 100s support AAC and aptX HD low latency support, so they should hold up whether you're listening to music or bingeing your favorite Netflix show. While you can use the wireless headphones with any Bluetooth-enabled device, they're optimized for Android, offering Google Fast Pair 2.0; Cleer Audio says that you just "simply turn on the headphones and the pairing request will almost instantly appear on-screen". Of course, looks are an important consideration when buying a new pair of over-ear headphones – and these cans look pretty swish, coming in subtle grey and white, and white and sand color schemes. While we're waiting on a firm release date, Cleer Audio has confirmed that they'll be available to buy from September in the US and UK, for $179.99 / £169.99 – much cheaper than our reigning wireless headphones champion, the Sony WH-1000XM3. Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo is set to join the list of companies that also make gadgets for your wrist, as it has confirmed it's working on its first smartwatch. The Oppo smartwatch was confirmed by the company's VP Shen Yiren in a Weibo -that's a Chinese social networking site - post where they provided a few other details about the upcoming device. It's set to launch at some point in 2020, but Yiren didn't reveal if the product would be available around the world. It may be the watch comes to China first and we have to wait a bit longer to see it in other markets if it comes at all. Our full best Wear OS watch guideCould Oppo break into best smartwatch territory?Or there's the best cheap smartwatch guideYiren's Weibo post also confirmed that Oppo will opt for a square screen on its first smartwatch, which is something we haven't seen many manufacturers opt for aside from Apple with the Apple Watch. The reasoning for square seems to be to fit more information onto the screen at the same time. We don't currently know much more about the new smartwatch from Oppo. The post doesn't confirm whether it will come with Oppo's own software or embrace the Wear OS platform like a lot of other Android manufacturers do. The post also teased the fact the company is working on an Oppo-branded pair of noise-cancelling wireless headphones, and we're likely to see those launch by the end of 2019. HTC has launched a new smartphone, the Wildfire X in India on Flipkart. The new phone comes in two variants having a 3GB RAM and a 4GB RAM with 21GB and 128GB storage respectively. Most people thought that HTC had silently departed the smartphone game, beyond its attempts to launch a blockchain phone in the HTC Exodus. But on August 12, HTC India tweeted a teaser where it mentioned that it is still in the game, and its “journey of innovation continues.” Although the new smartphone was teased earlier, the specifics of the phone were a mystery. The HTC Wildfire X, which kept us all interested, is now confirmed to be a budget offering placed in the most competitive price segment. HTC Wildfire X specificationsAs mentioned the phone comes in two storage configurations -- 3GB+32GB, 4GB+128GB. It features a 6.22-inch display with waterdrop design and 1520x720 resolution. On the camera front, it features a triple camera setup having a 12MP primary sensor, 8MP secondary with 2X optical zoom and a 5MP depth sensor. Up front, there’s an 8MP camera. As a highlight, HTC has put a “Mybuddy” security feature that can be used to trigger a loud SOS alarm and send the live location to family and record and transmit audio/video of the surrounding in real-time. With all that to offer, the HTC Wildfire X will compete against the likes of Realme 3 Pro, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Asus Max Pro M2 and similar. Price and availabilityThe MRP of both smartphones is Rs 13,999 and Rs 17,999 for 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variants respectively. OnePlus is finally ready to expand beyond smartphones and will be playing in the TV segment next. The company just confirmed that it would be called the OnePlus TV and also unveiled the logo. Earlier this year, OnePlus announced its intentions of entering the smart TV game by bringing its twist to it. According to company executives, televisions hadn’t innovated in the last few years, and they thought they could bring something new to the table. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/vwmGocPkvo5DaUYuwjWqSg.png The official OnePlus TV logo In a forum post, the company shared a few updates around the TV. For starters, it will be called the ‘OnePlus TV.’ A contest was held where community members could suggest names for this new product, and the name was then finalised. They even went on to reveal the logo, which was equally minimal. The name may seem a little underwhelming, but OnePlus is known for favoring minimalism when it comes to its designs and names. Or it probably did not want to create a new product name and keep things simple, just as it does with its smartphones. The OnePlus TV will encompass around the “Never Settle” philosophy and sport a “burdenless” design. It’s going to be interesting how OnePlus will design the TV, as there’s not much differentiation imaginable. OnePlus TV specificationsThere’s not much information available on the TVs itself, but MySmartPrice was able to retrieve some information. It will come in various screen sizes, starting at 43-inches and going all the way up to 75-inches. These will vary with regions and India is expected to get the 43, 55, 65 and 75-inch variants. These are expected to be 4K OLED panels, manufactured by TPV Display Technologies Pvt Ltd. The OnePlus TV will bring lots of smart connected features, which the competition does not offer. It will have wifi, Bluetooth 5.0 and an AI voice assistant. It will be powered by Android TV, but OnePlus is sure to add its twist to it. It shouldn’t take long for more information to surface, as the OnePlus TV is slated to be announced in the last week of September, and will be targeted at markets such as India and Canada. As is the tradition, the 2nd Test of the Ashes is taking place at Lord's - the home of cricket. As far as spectacles go, the first encounter will take some beating. But that won't bother the players from England and Australia, who will happily win ugly at Lord's. And for our part, we've put together this guide to watching an England vs Australia 2nd Test live stream from wherever you happen to be in the world. Every match of an Ashes series is crucial of course, but Australia's fast start really piles the pressure on to the hosts. At 1-1, England would have momentum with them to carry on to the rest of the Test matches. At 2-0, any hope of winning back the Ashes feels like a monumental task. Steve Smith saved his Australian teammates on day one of the 1st Test before then driving them to the win. The two centuries weren't only a welcome return to the Test fray after his little sandpapering misdemeanour, but also got some pundits talking about him as modern cricket's best batsman. His prized wicket will be a narrative that runs throughout this year's Ashes series. Aussie skipper Tim Paine isn't resting on his laurels and has decided to rotate his starting team by resting James Pattinson from the seam attack. Other than that it will be an unchanged eleven for the 2nd Test. Joe Root has been forced to replace legendary seamer Jimmy Anderson with new kid on the block Jofra Archer. And Moeen Ali has been mercifully dropped for this one, allowing Somerset spinner Jack Leach to see what he can do to turn fortunes England's way. Follow the instructions below to watch all of the coverage of the Ashes from Lord's. We'll tell you how to grab an England vs Australia 2nd Test live stream from pretty much anywhere on Earth. Because of broadcaster geo-blocking, you won't be able to watch online from overaseas. Pocophone Poco F2 release date, specifications, price and leaks
sincity posted a topic in Technology
The Poco F1 was probably the hottest debut product by any brand to hit the Indian market in years. It changed what consumers would expect from affordable flagships, and now, the Poco F2 will try to live up to that legacy. Xiaomi’s dream run in India has been fueled by remarkably well-priced smartphones for an extremely price-sensitive market. Fun fact, just the Redmi Note series of budget smartphones outsell most other smartphone brands. With the ball in their court, Xiaomi knew they had to try and replicate this model at a higher price segment. The answer came in the form of Pocophone, a Xiaomi sub-brand that would focus on gaming phones. Back in the day, gaming phones were pretty much just regular smartphones with bolder designs and top-of-the-line specifications. The Poco F1 nailed that aspect by bringing the flagship Snapdragon 845 silicon to the sub 30K price segment. This product mix was a masterstroke and made the F1 one of the most loved smartphones of its time, especially when mobile gaming was once again gaining traction. India is known to be a processor-centric market, and the Poco F1 tickled the right spot. Of course, this left consumers hoping for a Poco F2 which would retain the same DNA and bring incredible performance for the price. But it’s been almost a year since the launch of the F1, and there’s still no word on the existence of the F2 from the company, raising questions on whether we should even expect one at this point. Cut to the chase What is it? The successor to the Poco F1 When is it out? In the last quarter of 2019 What will it cost? Should start at under Rs 30K in India Xiaomi executives have commented that the Pocophone brand will not be discontinued, but their current focus is still on the F1. At this point, it’s confirmed that there’s more to come from Poco, probably just not any time soon. There’s still not much information about the Poco F2 around, but leaks have surfaced. Poco F2 launch date One of the main reasons why the Poco F2 might release later than last year is likely just because of how component refresh cycles have been in 2019. When the F1 was unveiled, Qualcomm’s best chipset, the Snapdragon 845 was almost eight months old. However, this year, Qualcomm went ahead an even unveiled the Snapdragon 855 Plus in July as an upgrade to the 855. Knowing Poco, they would want to ship with the latest chipset available. The Poco F1 came when the Snapdragon 845 was at the end of its lifecycle (and was one of the latest significant flagships with that chipset), but the Snapdragon 855 Plus is still relatively new, and no smartphone on the market currently sports it. We guess that Pocophone will wait for a while till the prices come down, and then incorporate it in the F2. Thus, Q4 of 2019 is when the Poco F2 should reasonably be expected and will be one of the last flagships to be unveiled this year. http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/TcbURsR4CbspS2BXHD5KjD.jpg Purported Poco F2 design patents Poco F2 specifications As mentioned, the F2 will ship with the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset with 6 or 8GB of RAM. Poco will also add some tweaks that improve the gaming experience of the device. In terms of design, the phone is expected to look very similar to its predecessor with a big, notched display on the front, a polycarbonate back with the camera array in the center and unapologetically thick to house a big battery. The display will stick to an FHD+ resolution but could get a little taller, coming in at 6.4-inches. Rumors also point at an OLED screen with an in-display fingerprint scanner, which will be a big step up from the wide-notched LCD panel on the Poco F1. Some design patents filed by Xiaomi recently show a phone that looks very similar to the Poco F1 but brought trendy upgrades such as a triple camera setup and a punch-hole camera on the front. Speaking of cameras, the Poco F2 is likely to come with the triple camera setup, which might consist of a primary, an ultrawide and either a telephoto or a depth sensor. Xiaomi has announced that it will be bringing 64MP and 108MP image sensors to its smartphones later this year, and could make an appearance on the Poco F2 as well. The camera performance was not the most influential aspect last year and should be improved by Xiaomi this year. What we want to see If Pocophone wants to win consumers’ hearts once again, here are a few suggestions that should help the Poco F2: Premium designThe Poco F1 had a very functional design, but it was nothing spectacular and looked very basic. Add the plastic construction to the mix, and it loses a few more points. Xiaomi has moved to glass bodies for most of their budget smartphones and should be implemented on the Poco F2 as well, if feasible. Agreed that the design is not a top priority, but even something a little more unique or iconic will help the F2 standout. A better display The F1 shipped with a mediocre display with pretty sizeable bezels all around, and an uncomfortably fuller notch. Not only should they work at increasing the screen-to-body ratio, but also improve the panel quality. If gaming is still the top priority, a slightly bigger or taller display will be appreciated. If we were to be wishful, it would be great to see the Poco F2 bring a higher refresh rate display to the budget segment. Bigger battery The Poco F1 had a 4,000 mAh battery in a rather thick body. By the time the F2 comes, we expect them to find a way to ship with a larger battery and not just chase a slim waistline for aesthetics. Stereo speakers Year 2019 saw the launch of multiple gaming smartphones that brought newer, bolder designs and elements like dual front firing speakers. The Poco F2 will be positioned as a gaming smartphone and should offer an immersive audio experience, especially if the top and bottom bezels are not very slim. If not, at least the earpiece should function as a second speaker. 64MP primary camera Xiaomi has been very vocal and optimistic about this new 64MP Samsung GW1 image sensor and has even mentioned that it will debut on a Redmi device. The Poco F2 is meant for spec junkies, and an impressive 64MP sensor should go a long way in establishing that. It’s no secret that there’s fierce competition between Apple and Spotify for dominance over the music streaming space, but if recent reports are to be believed, the two companies are looking to compromise for the sake of their users. Using Siri to play music on an Apple device has, thus far, been sorely missing the ability to pull up anything via Spotify – an inability intended to encourage more iPhone, iPad and Apple Home devices to use the native Apple Music service instead. As reported by The Information, however, the two tech companies are in discussions to allow Spotify functionality via the Siri voice assistant, “according to three people familiar with the discussions”. Apple Music vs Spotify: the music streaming titans go head-to-headApple is ordering up exclusive podcasts to take on Spotify and Amazon: reportSpotify boasts twice as many paid subscribers as Apple MusicEarlier in the year, Spotify filed an official complaint with the European Commission over anti-competitive practices put in place by Apple. This was an extensive allegation and included many examples of behavior that blocked Spotify and other music streaming services from fairly competing with Apple Music. While there’s no word whether any of these other complaints are being addressed in the reported discussions, the Siri compatibility issue is apparently being looked at in relation to new tools (additions to SiriKit) that Apple is providing to audio app developers in order to integrate with its voice assistant. Apple to be investigated by European Commission for anti-competitive behaviorIf the source is to be believed, Apple Music will still remain the default option when asking Siri to play music, but presumably you’ll be able to specify the use of Spotify in the voice command. While it’s not a sure thing – expecting Siri to start playing nice with Spotify – it could come with the launch of iOS 13, which is the first iteration of the operating system to feature the updated version of SiriKit being discussed. Twitter is coming up with new ideas to improve the microblogging site, with tests currently underway for letting users follow specific topics so they can easily access content they’re interested in. It will work exactly how the social site lets users follow specific people (or accounts) – you get to pick from a list of topics that’s been curated by Twitter (using artificial intelligence to populate the list), and then you’ll start seeing tweets from different users on that specific subject in your timeline, along with those from the users you follow. At present, select Android users are testing the new feature on subjects based around sports, but the topics will be expanded to include TV shows (beware spoilers), celebrities and other popular discussions on the platform. The topics will be public and if, at any time, you decide you don’t want to be part of the discussion any more (or prefer to steer clear of spoilers), you’ll have the option of unsubscribing, just like how you can already mute certain words or accounts to keep them out of our timeline. How to download videos from TwitterHow to delete Twitter for goodA fresh new Twitter client is arriving for macOS CatalinaTwitter is also testing the option of letting users create a secondary timeline for topics they don’t want to see in their central timeline. When this feature is rolled out across the platform, it will make it a lot easier for users to find content relating to specific interests. As of now, if you’re looking for something related to, say, your favorite TV show, you’ll need to use different hashtags and user-curated content to find what you’re after. This isn’t the most user-friendly way of keeping up with your preferred topics – if you don’t know which specific hashtag to use, you won’t see related tweets. Twitter is also considering adding other features to its platform, like searchable direct messages, support for Apple’s Live Photos and the ability to reorder images after they’ve been attached to a new post, however they're still in the pipeline with no clear indication as when they'll be rolled out. The US Department of Energy (DOE) and the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) have announced that Cray will build the NNSA's first exascale supercomputer, called El Capitan for $600m, which will be used to help manage the US' nuclear stockpile. El Capitan will be tasked with performing essential functions for the Stockpile Stewardship Program as it supports US national security missions by ensuring that the country's nuclear weapons remain safe, secure and effective. The new supercomputer will be developed as part of the second phase of the Collaboration of Oak Ridge, Argonne and Livermore (CORAL-2) procurement. Cray has already built two supercomputers for the US government including Aurora for the Argonne National Lab and Frontier for Oak Ridge. 10 of the world's most impressive supercomputersNvidia and ARM team up on supercomputersMercedes F1: How HPE supercomputing is helping push us to successAll of the firm's new supercomputers are build on the Shasta architecture which aims to combine the speed and scale of high-performance computing with the ease at which cloud-based enterprise tools are administrated. El CapitanCray's El Capitan is set to arrive in 2022 and the new supercomputer will be operating on the order of 1.5 exaflops or floating point operations per second. In addition to protecting the US' nuclear weapons, once El Capitan is fully operational it will also be used for classified nuclear weaponry design. Before the supercomputer begins its work on nuclear weapons, there will be a “shakeout period” during which time researchers will have access to it. Since El Capitan is still three years out, it is unclear as to how long this period will last or who will be able to use the supercomputer. DOE undersecretary for nuclear security and administrator of the NNSA, Lisa E Gordon-Hagerty explained how El Capitan will help the US maintain a nuclear deterrent, saying: "NNSA is modernizing the Nuclear Security Enterprise to face 21st century threats.
