I moved the the 2 qagame and the silent.pk3 off and replaced them and it works again...... Box was plugged in via router into DSL modem and have one of my websites as redirect...Nothing special been that way for a long time....

I disabled // silent tac and it still bans me.....hahaha ))))))))))))))))) Thinking about renaming server the "Ban Wagon" !!!!

I was just playing at Old Farts Silent server and no client side issues.....I might have corrupt server files but server still runs with bots...etc and it hands out Bans like Shacking hands(lol)...I feel sorry for the people who connected and got a surprise. ----Bluemax

Yes, Game installed default location.....I have never had any trouble like this! C:\Program Files (x86)\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory I'm afraid to connect else-ware now...lol I did load Mark C Mouse Fix ...but have been using that for years.

Did it and the new files DL'ed correctly from redirect and then client crashed when trying to join with message " BG_IndexForString:unknown token" and (animations/scripts/human_base.script line 22" <---not 100% grammatically correct but you get the Idea. So my Silent.PK3 on server must be corrupt? -Blue P.S. just let me know what files you want and will .zip them and send to you.

It just banned me again....I deleted all the bans and /exec silent.cfg in rcon and did it again....WTH

I grabbed the machine and brought it home to mess with it....The windows machine I used to connect is clean win7 load and within 2 weeks clean load of ET. I have had this server in operation for at least 1 year. Home server at first then dropped on a empty DSL modem that was not being used. -Blue just thought it was weird and wanted make sure people are aware of the glitch...Maybe it was something that locked up on my Linux box.....

When I was banned it said "banned on technical evidence of cheats" and I just left FA silent server and went to mine. I like to play different maps is why I have my server it basically just for me but is up for anyone to play on.

Sorry..I panic'ed and deleted them..I have to physically drive over (across town)and restart the server since I shut it down remotely. That would have been helpful ...maybe it will still be banning..I will let you know later.

I'm not sure what happened but server was banning like crazy..I went in this morning to play a few maps and it banned me...I have NO hax. I shut server down using putty. It was banning since 9-29-15 I deleted all the bans but could not get server to restart via rcon unlimited. I use filezilla free ftp client and back up all the folders and files..(Everything) Then if you have a problem you are covered. -Blu

I played there for a map..Hard to play for me without proper head/body shot sounds...I see you have Zelly's LESM running! Nice! Everything on my Home Server always worked fine until I started messing with et300...lol I run Silent and Silent with Zellys LESM I run Nitmod and Nitmod with Zellys LESM and Jaymod with enhancedmod and etpro Everything was working great until et300 My homepath is correct /usr/local/games/enemy-territory/ (default linux) I guess I will have to mess with basepath but never had to before.....

That is interesting..I added the ./ root line to my string and it said file not found. I then moved et300 to /root folder and WET started loading the maps...etc,but would not load enhmod . I'm getting closer though. At least it tried to start this time. I can usually run any mod with no problems so far. Except this day I decided to run et300...lol I can not do +net_ip since I am dynamic here at home. I mean I could but would be a pain to change every time my ip switched around. Blu

other things I have tried is also starting Silent with it and same errors and also re downloading et300 file by itself setting permissions and same error occurs. Here is link to Trackbase. http://filebase.trackbase.net/et/server/et300_README.txt

I have a Homenet server (Centos 32bit) which I use to test and play on. I like to play different maps at times so it is nice to have running. I am trying to get et300 (trackbase) to work and it will not start. I set permissions to 775 and tried 777 and no luck. file is sitting next to etded in root of "WET" directory. I deleted etded and et (the originals) after it would not start and that did not help. Startups I have tried are et300 +set dedicated 2 +set fs_game jaymod +set fs_homepath /usr/local/games/enemy-territory/ +exec jay.cfg and et300.x86 +set dedicated 2 +set fs_game jaymod +set fs_homepath /usr/local/games/enemy-territory/ +exec jay.cfg I googled et300 and ver few articles to give me clues. Anyone have any clues for me to chase and test?

Zelly, Cool Idea, but toggling off what you don't need is fine in my book...Rewrite the code? Nah. Unfortunately as much as I personally love this game and playing it..It's time has passed. That is why I am scrambling to make sure I have everything I need to host it myself. Just my personal opinion of coarse and opinions vary as a rule...... -Bluemax

What you want is www.dediserverhosting.com and this is F|A's Host and sign up there.....Very reasonable game hosts! I have nothing but positive things to say about them.. Hope this helps...Bluemax
