U just need to re upload 2 things: server binary files and client pk3. No, you will not loose XP but to be on safer side take back up of your database folder so in case if something goes wrong, you still got your back ups. None of the players on my server lost their XP.

+set sv_punkbuster 0 in command line and put pb_sv_disable in u config. To take another step, rename PB folder on your server FTP to pb_1. Problem solved.

EB is not supporting PB for ET anymore. Better to run server with PB off. But off course it's up to you. silEnT mod gives out it's own etkey.

Guess I won't be doing silent mod Works on Windows 2003, 32 and 64 bit. Confirmed. I tested on my friends machine who is using Windows 2003. I use Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise but everything worked fine on his machine and took less then 15 mins to get it going.

Yes but I wouldn't suggest forcing every player to 100 maxpackets. You should set min value to 25000 and max to 45000. You can add this in your default.cfg under mapconfigs folder. sv_cvar cl_maxpackets IN 30 100 sv_cvar rate IN 25000 45000 If you just want to force then: forcecvar rate 25000 forcecvar cl_maxpackets 100

No he expected profit from new games i.e. support old games and show the coding skills and expect new games to use his anti cheat. That's my guess and I could be wrong.

Try to replace the long long pk3 names to short. Example on your server you have pk3 called "~~~~~~~~~.pk3" with many "~". Try to make it "~~.pk3" and that will help by good amount. The more longer names u keep for pk3 the more error you will get regarding this issue.

I wouldn't suggest anything to buy from Ballistic servers. The only reason is did they answered to your question here? They have time to 'advertise' but no time for support? Doesn't make sense to me. What location you are looking to host your servers? Based on that I can suggest you some reputed GSP. Yes it's cheaper but good machines can be costlier too. To run 20 slot server it might cost 20$/month but with your own machine it might cost higher and you are liable for other things also.
