I am not quite sure who else requested besides me but I was the one who requested redsector to add hardware ban system to deal with same old dynamic IP changer cheaters and it was strictly mentioned in his email, for 'private' purpose only and it's mentioned same on his website. I have that one since last 4-5 months but issue with that one is it crashes with omni bot and I don't think that version supports OS X at present but hardware keys works perfectly well for windows. I tested on more then 50+ players. Only issue was server crashing every few hours with omni bots. Hardware key was not used to store XP but for banning cheaters. He is nice and helpful person. Wait for couple of days and he will reply. He always replied to me.

RAM/CPU usage increases as player count increases. See below screenshot for jaymod vs silent. 8 vs 8 bots. After 2-4 secs. One with PID 876 is silent mod and another one jaymod. In windows RAM usage is less for silent but for CPU usage, i don't have exact tools to monitor it. It's always around 0-2% of CPU for both. Well I have Quad Core Xeon with HT and 2.8Ghz CPU, so CPU usage will always remain low for me. I/O read/write also depends on the type of log settings admin is using. I am sure above stats would be much different for Linux. For Linux, I can't say much because my 'hardcore' server is hosted with gs.com so I can't set up test environment for it.

Sorry, we only give one admin from clan access to our beta section because it helps us to track how many clans are participating and we will invite again all clans who came up with suggestions/issues in next beta testing when required. I run it on: 64 bit centos and 64 bit debian. For windows I use 2003 and 2008 R2 64 bit. All my machines are 64 bit and 0.3.3 version runs pretty fine with LUA. How are you setting up your server? may be some mistake somewhere while setting up?

No, it was in response to Avery. Let's say we change something in final version due to enhancement or bug, then he has to fix it again and again players have to download it. So what I suggested him, wait for final release and then release the main menu pk3 so that players need to download it once. It's off course a suggestion to Avery but in the end it's totally his choice.

I would suggest to release menu after final release 0.4.0 so in case if we fix something in UI, you will not have to change again and again. But that's just my opinion.

Beth, I fixed up your issues. Here is my humble suggestion. Please never mix ETPub / NQ and Silent mod config. Every mod has it's own cvar and adding other mod cvars just causes mess.
