    in the console just do a /bot version or some sort of rcon utility such as rconunlimited leave off the / bot version and you should get 11:22:21 am:> bot version ------------------------- Omni-Bot : Sep 15 2013 16:27:32 Version : 0.83 Interface # : 17

    what have you got set for set omnibot_enable set omnibot_path in your config file, you do not want to be running omnibot from command cline

    I am guessing that your server runs fine without omnibot ? the easiest way to get it running is get your server running without it, install omnibot into its own directory, mines is omnibotv082 make sure the server still runs, then add the omnibot stuff near the bottom of your silent config, again mine is // Omni-bots set omnibot_enable 1 //changed from 0 set omnibot_path "/usr/local/games/enemy-territory/omnibotv082/" //changed from "" set g_bot_maxXP 1000 //changed from -1 set g_bot_minPlayers 8 //changed from -1 set omnibot_flags 262160 //changed from 0 then it should work, do not for get you have to have a map that has waypoints as the first map or the bot will not join the server (they don't on mine) the easy way to tell if its working if there are no bots on is to do a bot version in the console or something like rcon unlimited and you should get 10:14:31 pm:> bot version ------------------------- Omni-Bot : Sep 15 2013 16:27:32 Version : 0.83 Interface # : 17

    a quick way to slow them down is to stop them picking up their own med packs and reset the xp every now and again.

  10. we have "g_defaultHitSounds" is:"1" default:"1" and "g_hitsounds" is:"9" default:"0" to get our hit sounds working as we want.
  11. v0.82 is the latest version, but you can post on the omnibot forum if you get stuck with the bots
  12. I dont use lua either, its just a case using the pk3 I attached to see what mine sound like then add your own inside the pk3 in place of mine. it just works once you've uploaded the pk3 and restart the server. Dont forget to put the pk3 you use on your redirect as well.
  13. we have ours set to set g_spreeOptions 2807 //changed from 0 Also we have a pk3 file with all our spree sounds in. All I did was rename the sounds I wanted to what silent was looking for and then added them to a pk3 file, I've attached mine to this so you can have a look.   14. we have our medics set to 40% in console we get "team_maxMedics" is:"40%" default:"-1" but since upgrading we can have no medics, is it just me or is this for everyone ? I've just set "set team_maxMedics 2" and now we can have 2 medics. I have just gone back to set team_maxMedics 40% and now we get "team_maxMedics" is:"40." default:"-1" I'll stick to setting it at 2 for now with "set team_maxMedics 2"
  15. If the file is the same name as the original one, replace the old with the new by deleting the old and put the new one in its place. I would rename the old on the redirect first then stop the server and do the same to the server. Once finished restart the server and it should pick up the new one, you can test this by renaming the old one on your local machine then join the server and make sure the new one downloads from the redirect correctly. If it downloads, job done.

  18. not if you have a big monitor also ETPro is set to 8 per fireteam I believe, but can change the ? cant think of the word for it, where you can see through it, you know what I mean
  19. can we have the number of players in a fireteam increased to 8 from 6. This could be permanent or via a cvar :?:
  20. We have quite a few players who just self feed, it would be nice to stop that from happening and needing two fieldops as one never gives away ammo. There were a few complaints about stopping medics from self healing but now everyone is used it, it works better for team play.
  21. Could we have a command added to stop fieldops from picking up their own ammo packs ? it could work similar to the way medics have it g_medics 1 g_medics 2 It could perhaps be added to the g_weapons
