  1. Are there any differences between v4 and v6 or the only one is the length of the address?
  2. Russia imposed an embargo on whole European Union which means giant loss for Poland and other countries which export a lot of food to Russia.
  3. New Polish production of CD Projekt RED just came out some time ago Western fantasy role-playing games have moved in different directions over the years. You have the European type of games like Two Worlds II, the Gothic series, and the original The Witcher. Games that tend to expect a lot of patience from the player while giving you a huge amount of things to do in an open, yet usually (or initially) buggy world. Then you have games like Dragon Age II that streamline the more hardcore elements to provide a more polished experience, but at the same time restrict your freedom in terms of customizability and things like crafting. Now it looks like we finally have a game that tries to do it all, and in doing so might blow anything away that we've grown to kind of accept in recent years. If you were one of those people that complained about Game X and said "I'll wait for Witcher 2 instead," then congratulations: you were right. Developed by CD Projekt RED and released in 2007, The Witcher had you take control of Geralt of Rivia, a "witcher" who excels at hunting monsters. The game was based on a book series of the same name by Polish fantasy author Andrzej Sapkowski and has since amassed a cult following of loyal fans. The game's sequel, The Witcher 2, is now upon us, and hot on the heels of its release we have a plethora of character-specific trailers to give you a who's who in the Witcher universe. 4. How does it work? Do players need special prepared game client or that's only serverside fix package?
  5. If you want to use LUA for this I can post my kspree.lua EDIT: Here it is: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19256625/silEnT/kspree.lua
  6. Anyway, it's satisfying answer. Thanks for the conversation
  7. IMHO it can be the next reason, PB goes worse and worse every day
  8. Hmm, but as I know, XPSave doesn't even work for the people without GUID (I had to explain to few players how to install PB to get working XP save). And other issues, PB didn't want to register an etkey for 2 players and I had to send them keys generated at my PC (they had PB enabled). BTW, g_XPSave on the server is set to 21. 2 less processes in the system (PnkBstrA.exe, PnkBstrB.exe) and I know people who remove PB completely only because of few more free MB of RAM The reason why I suggested the new GUIDs system is that a lot of players don't have GUID (even if they have PB enabled) and in the most of the cases they don't know how to "register" a GUID. The easiest way is connection to server with PB ON cause sometimes /pb_cdkeyreg just doesn't work. But first someone have to say about it to these players, otherwise player see there is no XP save and he/she starts to think "WTF, nah, sh*t server, XP don't save, gonna find a new one".
  9. Orginally posted on N!tmod forum: I like the idea. Since I disabled PB on the server I started to have players on it, but everyday I see kicks for "Duplicate GUID" of players who don't have GUID (if on the server is one person without GUID, 2 people will be kicked for the same GUID, I mean no GUID - connecting one and playing one). They don't know how to install/configure PB right and they will stop playing on the server if they will get kicks over and over again. If there would be something like "silEnT GUID", every player will get it with first connect to the server and there won't be any issues anymore with people who don't have PB. The game will stop to be addicted to our lovely PunkBuster . Original thread posted on N!tmod forum: http://nitmod.com/vi....php?f=22&t=222
  10. New colors look nice IMO! Especially green
  11. I love playing on silEnT, hope the community of silEnT players will enlarge, enlarge and enlarge . The mod has a potential .
  12. Disabled PB bacause of many kicks for newbie players. Added one small skinpack (1,3MB), it was added some time ago but I write about it anyway for the info.
  13. Hmm, I think Silencer prefers cg_gun_fovscale 0 too That's the reason why we're forcing cg_gun_fovscale 0 on our server When I first time played on ETPub I thought about that the same as Dare posted above "omg, what a sh*t, gun looking doesn't change with FOV, omg, wtf" and I was too lazy to "torture" ETPub's config. And it's the main reason I didn't play on ETPub servers more than 5-10 min (the second reason was cg_damagekick in newer ETPubs, I have some pro player's config and there is a line cg_damagekick 0.00 and I thought it's mod feature which is not changeable cause I didn't know this cvar works on ETPub too...).
  14. It's a small thing, but would be nice to see it in the silEnT (ofc if developers will agree too) Original icon of the "connection interrupted" is very poor (32x32) and doesn't look nice in-game. How about to replace it with HQ one in better quality from eg. CoD4? Don't worry about mod size cause it would be only few more kB for the silEnT package, but what a fun for laggers Old one: http://obrazki.elektroda.net/93_1301781122.jpg And/or new one: http://obrazki.elektroda.net/72_1301781235.png I know it sounds stupid, but... it's not so much work, you could become interested in it. Take a look into attachments, I provided icon in miscellaneous dimensions, but I think 128x128 would be good enough if you would like to use it. Regards, Dragon
  15. Just during the game, I was shooting to the enemies and then the game turned off. Maybe it's due to the fact that I had a lot of programs running in the background (Firefox, Xfire, GG, Winamp, COMODO etc.)?

  17. Also, I miss correct support for widescreen resolutions in 16:9 and 16:10 (normally HUD doesn't work well etc...). EDIT: But it seems it's feasible cause jaybird already implemented it: http://www.splashdamage.com/forums/showthread.php?p=272416#post269907 EDIT2: Looks good in new Jay: http://obrazki.elektroda.net/36_1301492380_thumb.png
